It's easy to use.

I have had and used several dosimeters, but I have never been satisfied with their performance (especially battery life). After purchasing this device, I can say it is very accurate, as I used a calibration source to verify. I bought it so I can measure the radiation levels of food I buy in the grocery store, especially wild caught fish. It makes me feel better knowing I can test it for myself, because it’s likely it is not quality controlled by sellers, and I value the safety of my family above all else.The Geiger-1 was recommended on multiple prepping channels. A few of my military friends recommended MIRA Safety and said it is a trusted professional brand, so I bought it and definitely recommend it to others looking for peace of mind.

The first opportunity I had to turn it on, the alarm went off until it died. I had to return it immediately.

Use something like Stainless Steel Travel Cigar Case to protect it in! Works perfectly!Update:You can use a semi-rigid case, and a test tube with aluminum screw on lid from Amazon, for protection! See the picture.

Great Product

It arrived broken. It wouldn't turn on. It doesn't say anywhere on the package what type of batteries it takes, and it's impossible to get the batteries out to replace them anyways. A huge waste.

Don't like the battery size.

It is a great little pocket Geiger counter and dosimeter. I really love it’s small size that fits easily in my pocket and it’s lightweight you can almost forget it is there.
