I love this radio!! Great product! Installed myself in my 2004 GMC envoy. Install was straight forward. Few extra wires with the camera and I added a sub and amp. The sound is awesome! Love listening to it. I paired with kicker speakers.The Bluetooth rocks!! My phone pairs to it instantly when I get in and stays connected with no issues. I love all the settings available for calling. Calls are very clear and the microphone works great too.I love the backup camera feature, it works flawlessly as well. BUT.. the camera that comes with the unit has an awful viewing angle. I bought a different one off Amazon for $18 that plugged right into the radios wiring and love the difference. The new camera has a 170° viewing angle and it is perfect. I attached a picture to show the difference. Top picture is the one that came with the radio and bottom one is the 170° one. Very easy to set up and operate this radio. The screen is a tad slow to react until you get used to it. Great product for the price

JVC Kenwood did a great job with this stereo. It is very user friendly, and therefore, I am able to navigate very easily without reading the instructions. However, I would encourage you to read the users manual to get the most out of it. I will say right up front that I never even used the camera that was sent with it. After reading so many reviews on this $14 camera, I decided to upgrade right away. I have some physical limitations, and therefore have not installed the camera yet, but will update to this post if there is anything noteworthy.I could immediately recognize a difference in the sound from the stock stereo that Subaru provides. This is coming for a guy that can barely tell the difference between stereo and mono. So yes, there is a definite difference. I used to have to crank the Subaru stereo up to 30 just so I can understand what they were saying. I also have hearing difficulties. With the JVC Kenwood, I top it out at about 15 to get a much richer sound and easy to understand.It paired with my phone before I even knew it. That was easy to setup. One of the major features on this stereo for me was the USB on the front. I didn't want to go thru the hassle of cutting a hole in my dashboard to accommodate a USB coming from the rear like many of them do. The only thing I really didn't like, and the reason it received four stars instead of five, was the absence of a mute button. It would be very handy when pulling up to a fast food speaker, or if someone walks up to your car. Because there is no dial, it takes a bit longer to turn down. After all being said, this is well worth the money. I did a lot of research in this price range before pulling the trigger. Good luck with your purchase.

The days of hooking up a red wire a black wire and speakers are OVER ! If you get this Radio you will need to go to Youtube and watch how to install the steering wheel controls adapter . Then the Sirius Sat. tuner. you will want to buy sold both separately. It looks sharp and has all the features I wanted. While it doesn't have GPS navigation you can mirror that to your radio from your phone. I have seen radios that cost twice as much with fewer features.

The stereo sounds so much better then the stock stereo. Pretty easy to use. Everything seems to work great except the backup camera. Looks like there was some moisture in it. never worked from day one..

Awesome unit. I always choose Jvc for there sound quality and the equalizer they have the best and the most options on sound quality for the price . Installed this unit today and was a 6-10 install sounds amazing paired with 6.5” Polk components

Do not waste your time and money. Was looking for a device with certain options like an SD card reader and Steering Wheel remote connecting port. According to the listing description this device had them all. So I've bought this device on Amazon, brought it to Jamaica where I live, paid $60 to install it and then discovered that1. It has no port for the Steering wheel remote, and the manual that came with it does confirm that this model does not have it.2. There is NO SD memory card reader.3. There is NO 3.5 mm AUX port.4. After just a few days after installation the whole thing stopped working. While playing the DVD the screen switches to the settings mode every 20sec.5. The seller suggest I send it back to get a refund. So now I have to spend $60 more to uninstall it and God knows how much to ship it back from Jamaica.Super disappointed!
