If CUBE is off and you press once, it goes into night light mode. Pressing twice will switch CUBE off again. **Q: What is the color temperature of this light?** A: I am not sure what you mean by color temperature but I see that someone put in 4000 Kelvin. I can tell you that there are three settings to the neutral white color and the highest white is very bright. The other colors change from blue to red to yellow to orange to purple, etc. And you can set it to stay on one of those other color choices. I use them on my patio for ambiance and to-date the batteries have not run out. I usually have them out there for 3-4 hours at a time.
