Saves money in the long run, as long as you buy the recharge kit now. Helps get a little more growl out of your bike, but def not worth adding an Extra $200 to your bike value, you know who you are, Bike for sale, never been dropped (by me, tons of add-ons, to list a few, K&N air filter...), you know who I am talking about. Good buy, get it!

REMOVE THE FACTORY GASKET
This filter fit my 09 gsxr600 easily. There is a rubber gasket in the channel that the air filter sits in. This needs to be removed. Rubber on rubber will not seal and it will cause the clearance issue that other people have mentioned.

06 gsxr 600 perfect fit! Great filter!
Pretty good upgrade from stock filter! My bike was running like crap, put in new iridium spark plugs and this filter, man what a difference. I don't know if it's just me or not but I do feel like the filter made my throttle response and acceleration much better. Shipped fast! Perfect fit! Read directions before you try to squeeze airbox closed! Fit my 06 gsxr 600 perfect.

Der Luftfilter lässt viel mehr Luft durch und wirkt qualitativ hochwertig. Nicht zu viel Öl verwenden und nach Anleitung handeln, damit alles reibungslos funktioniert.

For those maybe a bit unsure, i can confirm this part fits the k8 and k9 600 and 750 as it fits my own k8 750. Can't definitively confirm anything else but it may also fit the k6 and k7.
