Intuitive Design Means "No Directions Included"
I ordered the Premium Tail Gate System so I could strap my boards in the back of my truck, of course. The product shipped promptly but the instructions included were not for this model. Even if they were the correct instructions they most likely would be inadequate because the instructions I received were multilingual with poor drawings as the guide to installation.I had no trouble figuring out how the D-rings work to attach the straps around the tail gate even though they weren't looped correctly through the D-ring as shipped. The strap that holds the boards in place is placed under the pad instead of on top. This leads you to believe initially that the flaps that hang on either side of the tail gate have to be bent the opposite direction hiding the FCS logo. In reality, you have do undo the strap (which is also threaded incorrectly) and bring it around so that it wraps over the top of the pad.The way this system works is simple, but it's definitely not intuitive because of the way the item is packed. Proper packaging and some clearly written instructions with clear diagrams would be the key. The FCS website has no instructions for any of their products.I'm giving it 3 stars because of the time I needed to take the whole thing apart and assemble it correctly. If my board blows out of the back of the truck on the way to the beach tomorrow I'll come back and change it to 1 star.UPDATE:Despite the above, the product works really well. It is on and off the truck in no time and does a great job of keeping the boards securely in place. I give it FOUR STARS.

Wicked Awesome
Was not so sure about this because there was no photo of the product, just the bag that it comes in. I have to say I am really impressed with the design of this system. The special "clips" I'll call them that are utilized to fasten the straps are super nice, easy and are really secure (no loosening to speak of). Works perfectly on my Tacoma. I can now travel with 2 longboards very securely hanging out the back resting on top of the tailgate, with a bunch of short boards in the bed of my truck (in bags of course). Can't speak on the longevity yet because I have only had for a short while, but it seems rock solid so far. I think keeping indoors between uses will probably make it last forever.Happy toting!

Awesome protection for the SUP
I love, love, LOVE this product! It protects the SUP from bouncing around and getting dents in the foam board, as well as keeping it secure in the bed of the truck. The buckles are labeled with 1,2,3 so most people can figure out how to secure it (most), and it was fairly easy to install on the tail gate although it IS easier with two people so that the gate can be at the correct angle to feed the line through.

Quality, and reasonably priced
Really nice wraps and buckles. Super easy to use with the order to lace them being numbered on the buckle. Exactly what I was looking for at a very reasonable price.

FCS sucks
Yeah it works as intended.........would be nice if FCS sold them in Australia instead of me having to pay to have them shipped from USA

I recommend 1) taking out find and 2) putting some padding ...
Exactly as advertised and what I needed. I stack 2 SUP boards with he tailgate pad. If stacking boards, I recommend 1) taking out find and 2) putting some padding between boards. Great product and great price.

A bit tedious putting on and taking off
It works well. A bit tedious putting on and taking off. If you put it on...you might want to leave it on.
