A lot to paint, to white

So so kit. Way overpriced for what you get. Looks ok

With the exception of the gas tanks themselves, this is a relatively easy kit to build. The tanks are in halves so you'll have to work at it to get rid of the joint line. I would not rely on the molded colors, paint everything and it becomes a much more impressive facility. Be sure to paint the tank platforms and ladders aluminum and the handrails safety yellow. OSHA would be all over this place for having loose cylinders leaning up against a building like the photo shows! Use Tichy Trainworks handrails and build some cylinder storage cages.

The kit adds a lot of flexibility for modeling refinery operations. I used the office for the refinery office and the small tanks as reflux drums. The pipe size is probably right for commercial operations. For industrial (refinery) use the Walthers piping kits for the refinery and tank farm.
