I saw the Daniel Smith watercolours in an art promo by Jean Haines whose work I love. She has partnered with Daniel Mith on this particular range of shimmer colours. I added two other colours which make a great palette to work with. The quality is superb and the range of colours is good.

Disappointed by the colours. Not the bright vibrant colours I hoped for. I have some cheap Chinese watercolour pans that are better. At this price I expected something really special.

Love the vibrancy and high pigment content. Been wanting these for a while. A must have for watercolour artist.

Expensive, small tubes of limited colour range, although good colours. Windsor & Newton would have been cheaper, but I was drawn to the ‘elitism’ and names of the colours! Don’t think I can afford to expand the colour palette:(

5ml is very small, but these paints are so beautiful! This set is a good way to try them out before buying bigger individual tubes.
