Good Movie!

Probably my second favorite JW movie.

This is a great John Wayne classic worthy of watching. Balanced video and audio. Highly recommend it!

I love this movie. It has always been a favorite of mine. I recommend everyone watch it at least once

As many times as he was in pain or when he had a lung removed, he continued doing what he did best, acting. He was the devoted father of 8 and many grandchildren. There was Michael who directed and produced many of later pictures, Patrick who acted alongside his dad in many of his movies. Then in the one he played Jacob MacCandles Michael directed Patrick acted alongside his dad and his grandson in the movie was truly Wayne's own Grandson. Along with Christopher Mitchum who is the son of Giant Robert Mitchum he worked with Wayne and so did his dad on several occasions. If you haven't watched his movies you should try, they're some of the few movies not laced with four letter words like so many now think it's normal.

I have not had access to this classic John Wayne movie since the days of VHS. The images and sound was clear. I will buy again as a gift.

Used to watch this with my dad. Lots of memories.

Nur wo John Wayne draufsteht ist auch John Wayne drin. Der Duke hat ja so etliche Genres durchgeackert... ist und bleibt aber am ehesten durch seine Western in Erinnerung. Besonders seine Spätphase ab Mitte der 60 iger Jahre sorgen sicherlich Aufgrund des erhöhten Ironiefaktors (Tribut ans Alter) für beste Unterhaltung.Auch hier als rauhbeiniger Sherriff mit Herz (Rooster Cockburn lässt grüssen) enttäuscht der Duke nicht.Wenn dann noch als garstiger Gegenspieler George Kennedy hinzukommt, darf man sich auf einen Kampf der Giganten freuen, bei dem natürlich nur einer überleben kann.Filme wie sie heute nicht mehr gemacht werden, weil solche charismatischen Akteure einfach nicht mehr existieren. Gottseidank gibt es DVD als Rettung!Alles unter 5 Sterne wäre somit eine Beleidigung für solche Klassiker!

John Wayne back in action, and back in the kind of movie he did best.this is a western he made in 1973.George Kennedy that other great actor co stars in this movie. Pq on this blu ray is the best I have seen. In 1080p, 2.35.1 16x9. And the good news is this blu ray disc is region free.
