We keep one in our med kit for our stroller and car. This way when we are at a playground and something happens, (which it has), we have one ready. They also can be used to help overheating in the summer for an emergency

I teach 2nd grade, and there are so many times kids need something like this. It is really easy for them to hold up against whatever spot is aching/hurting, and they love that it instantly starts getting cold (but it doesn't freeze them to death). They think it is super cool. I also love that I can just clean and reuse it, and I always have 2 available. I had something similar to this come in a first-aid kit that was given to me, but it was lost (and smaller), so I scoured Amazon for something similar, found these and was definitely not disappointed. I haven't tried them myself, so I can't personally speak to the pain relief, but my "kids" all say they work. This would be great to keep in any first aid kit, any classroom or even just around the house. If your kids are like my kids (students), they will love them!

I just purchased two more boxes of these. Perfect for keeping in your car for little bumps and bruises from playing at the park. All you need to do is give it a good slam and it gets cold. These are a must have for your first aid kit.

Perfect to keep in the car or diaper bag for unexpected owies. Kids like that they have a penguin on them.

This is awesome, and perfect for a little one's boo-boos. It's cute and my daughter likes to hold it and say "cold, cold".
