The instrument came in nice gig bag, looked beautiful but was totally unplayable from 1st-9th fret. Every string, every fret between with no ability to adjust. Really wanted this guitar to be good 😢

Sono rimasto sorpreso visto il prezzo della qualità tastiera scorrevole , una accordatura che tiene bene con una meccanica ben progettata . Che dire soddisfatto con un bel look .. piacevole suonare come le grandi ma con un feeling ottimo .

Nicht nur für diese Preisklasse sehr gut!Zugegeben, ich hatte etwas Bedenken beim Kauf, günstige China Gitarren haben ja nicht unbedingt den besten Ruf, meine Bedenken verflogen jedoch rasch, als die Gitarre ankam. Ordentliche, sichere Verpackung, gut gepolsterter, ordentlich verarbeiteter Gigbag, darin die Gitarre noch zusätzlich extra verpackt, als Zubehör alle nötigen, auch wirklich passenden Schraubenschlüssel (4 Stück), Kabel sowie die Locking-Gurtstücke.Ein Argument für den Kauf war die geringer Größe und das Gewicht, da ich ohnehin ein Headless Guitar Fan bin. Ein weiteres Argument war die Tatsache, dass die Leaf bereits ab Werk mit Alnico-Humbuckern bestückt war, und zwar nicht mit High-Gain-Humbuckern, sondern mit PAF Types (7,7 und 8,2 kOhm), noch dazu sogar mit Coil-Split Funktion des Tonpotis. In dieser Preisklasse eher unüblich. (Keramik Pickups sind klanglich einfach nicht mein Ding.)Die Verarbeitung ist einwandfrei, die Gitarre benötigt keine Double-Ball-Ends, die Saiten werden nur verkehrt, mit den Ball-Ends am Hals eingefädelt, auf etwas Überlänge gekürzt, die Bridge hat eine Art Locking Mechanismus, in dem sich die Saiten durch Spannen selbst fixieren. Stimmen geht mit den kleinen Schrauben oder komfortabler mit dem in der Bridge magnetisch fixierten, kleinen Schraubenschlüssel.Der Sattel ist sogar höhenverstellbar, die Saiten können hinter dem Sattel zusätzlich fixiert werden, die Halskrümmungseinstellung funktioniert mit dem beigelegten, langen Inbusschlüssel einwandfrei.Der Ahorn-Hals ist matt lasiert, liegt gut in der Hand, der Hals hat einen modernen, flachen Radius, ist sehr gut bespielbar. Sattelbreite ca. 42 mm.Die Bünde sind - zumindest bei meinem Modell - tadellos verarbeitet, ich konnte keine scharfen Kanten oder ungleich hohe Bünde feststellen, die Werkseinstellung ist eigentlich schon fast perfekt, die Halskrümmung habe ich etwas "tiefer gelegt" und bei der E und A Saite die Oktavreinheit etwas nachjustiert, ansonsten war die Leaf eigentlich einwandfrei eingestellt.Das Korpusmaterial ist Mahagoni, was in Kombination mit dem Ahornhals und den Alnico-Pickups exzellent klingt, die Gitarre liefert schöne, gut klingende, aber nicht zu scharfe Höhen, gute, aber nicht dominante Mitten und ausreichend Bässe, die auch bei Verwendung des Halspickups nicht matschen.Klanglich ist's eine typische, aber sehr gute Bolt-On, guter Attack und für eine Bolt-On sehr gutes, natürlich ausklingendes Sustain, auch die höheren Lagen sind bei der Leaf äußerst gut erreichbar und bespielbar.Auf Grund des recht kleinen Bodys könnte man einen zu dünnen Sound erwarten, was hier aber - meiner Ansicht nach - nicht der Fall ist. So fett wie eine Les Paul klingt die Leaf natürlich konstruktionsbedingt nicht, eher wie eine gute Strat oder Tele mit PAF Humbuckern.Die PAF Type Humbucker liefern schöne, klassische Humbucker Sounds, gesplittet mit etwas weniger Output und klareren Sounds mit mehr Höhen, die in allen 3 Positionen durchaus gut verwendbar sind.Die vergleichsweise kleinen, auch niedrigeren Potiknöpfe machen hier durchaus Sinn, allerdings passen auch andere Gitarren-Potiknöpfe mit Riffelachse auch die Potis, falls man größere Knöpfe bevorzugt.Optisch auch auf der Bühne ein Hingucker, erst recht, wenn man die Sounds hört, die aus diesem Winzling rauskommen (können). Ideal ebenso wohl vor allem als kompakte Desktop oder Wohnzimmer Gitarre oder als leichter Alternative für "ältere Semester", die bereits ein wenig mehr auf ihre Bandscheiben achten müssen und sich nicht mehr ganz problemlos eine 4-5 kg Gitarren umhängen können oder wollen.Viel Ton für wenig Geld! Empfehlenswert!

La guitarra es bastante más pequeña que una normal, porque no tiene clavijero y el cuerpo es más reducido:- Ideal para practicar en casa en cualquier sitio, para llevar a clases, a cualquier sarao con los colegas o de viaje.- Suena bastante bien con las dos pastillas que tiene (3 posiciones) y es muy bonita.- Trae una llave para ajustar el alma, y varias llaves Allen para poder cambiar las cuerdas y hacer ajustes diversos.- Por si fuera poco, trae un estuche con un acolchado bastante decente (no es la típica bolsa cutre de tela).Sólo avisar que al no tener clavijero, el sistema de ajuste de las cuerdas es distinto a una normal, ya que entran por arriba (la bola hace tope), y se enrollan y afinan en el puente con una de las llaves Allen proporcionadas. Un poco más trabajoso que afinar en una normal, pero tampoco un trabajo de chinos.En resumen, totalmente recomendada si quieres una guitarra eléctrica pequeña, manejable y que suene bien.

First off: I am not entirely new to playing guitar, but I’d still like this review to be read as through the eyes of a beginner – simply because my knowledge and priorities aren’t the same as from someone who’s done it for an eternity. Since the guitar also got advertised to me to be suitable for rookies I was super excited to try it. The delivery was fast and the packaging very thoroughly. A giant box, containing a smaller box, containing the bag, containing a wrapping, containing the guitar. Everything arrived safely without any damage.My first impression was that I really adored the color. I wasn’t too sure about it on the pictures but the green is B-O-M-B. I really love the design overall; it looks super interesting and definitely is something else. Shortly afterwards, however, I noticed that the tuning tool was missing. Since I couldn’t find it I contacted the seller who promptly answered me, many kudos for that – before I read it though I searched the package again and noticed that the tool somehow ended up in the folds of the wrapping. I have no idea how, but it got there. So, after receiving the reply from the seller I already wanted to give them an all-clear, but for some reason the Amazon Message center wouldn’t let me respond to them directly. So, all I did was to click on “THIS MESSAGE WAS HELPFUL” and just hoped that they got that – either way, here’s the review now, so everything’s fine.Now, I was a bit wary if there was something wrong with the magnetism for the tool on the side since the tool fell out. But nope, everything fine as well. As long as it works, I don’t question. With the instruction manual, I tuned everything with a bit of patience bc the instrument was very out of tune, but then it was done. Now to the guitar itself: It’s a travelling guitar and hence is much lighter than expected and also smaller. I really like both of those things bc for someone like me with a bad back and tiny hands it came very handy. At the same time, I am also a little torn about the size - it works great for the points I just listed, but I find it a little unhandy to balance the guitar on my leg with only my forearm. The size doesn't allow that as good as a normal-sized one. The tuning was very fast once I figured out how it worked, plugged the thing in, played it. In my opinion you can definitely hear the difference between single coil and humbucker mode and playing around with it made me enjoy this little thing a lot. The only thing I didn’t like that much was that in the beginning, I had to tune it pretty often. Have no idea why but hey, it holds the tune now.So, all in all: It’s exactly what I have looked for. Light, small, awesome sound and with a really nice design and cool features. The price-performance-ratio works very well for me.
