So You Want to Move to Canada, Eh?: Stuff to Know Before You Go

My husband and I dream about moving from the U.S. to Canada, but for various reasons, it's not going to happen. However, I really enjoyed reading this book. A lot of it is very amusing, as well as useful information if you really do want to move there.

Even if you never plan to move to Canada, you should read this book to be inspired about what a country can be. Should the US be more like Canada? Yes, of course we should. This book is delightful to read, informative and inspiring, especially if you are planning on starting your own country. When people move to the US, well-dressed representatives should hand out this book before people get to the paperwork station and ask them, 'Are ya sure you don't want to try Canada? C'mon, it'll be fun dontcha know.' A few years ago, when many people were considering moving to Canada, they could have really used this book. Something tells me that future generations will need this, which means that it should be updated every five years or so, which would be great for the author. Buy this book, give it to friends.

No mention of Rush or SCTV, or Corner Gas....really! Otherwise a good read, makes you want to know more. Chili Dogs

Bought this for my 17 year old grandson who wants to move to Canada. It was good information!

Love this book! Great info with lots of humor thrown in. A fun read for those of us that love the country to our north. Plus it mentions my fave singer, Alan Doyle lead singer of the iconic Newfoundland band, Great Big Sea.

This is not a step by step instruction manual for those looking for legal help, but if you want a dual citizen's advice about what to expect, this is a big help.

I bought this book for my niece who just married a Canadian and is moving to Canada from Texas. She has looked at parts of it and has liked it. Her husband was happy to see some of the included information.
