I was on the fence on this one, as some reviews said it was just for decoration, while others reviews said it worked fine.Well, its not just for decoration. It does in fact work. No touch ID mind you, but the home button works well. You will just have to put your passcode in a lot.I think why many say it don't work, is that they over tighten the screw that goes directly into the home button. Instructors on IfixIT says you can't over tighten it or it will NOT work.Make sure when you install it, you have the home button in the correct position and don't bend the delicate cable the wrong way. Check out a youtube video. That's how I broke the original one. Sucks. But lesson learned. Never rush it.
