Makes a great thank you gift!
I bought the Pneumonia Microbe as a gift to my boyfriend for taking care of me when I had bacterial pneumonia. It's a funny little stuffed animal. The eyes are look both sinister and cute at the same time.Unlike real pneumonia, this toy brought joy to my life. I definitely recommend it over catching real pneumonia. If you've always dreamed of getting pneumonia, buy this toy instead. It's much cheaper than a visit to the doctor and the medications associated with such an illness. Plus, it only brings happiness unlike real pneumonia that brings pain and misery.

Cool toy
Very cute Giant Microbe...as cute as Streptococcus pneumonia can be! The eyes are plastic and shaped nicely, which adds to the attractiveness of the toy.

Great gag gift
Funny gag gift. Got it for my little brother for Xmas as his gag gift. He got pneumonia late July and all August. He’s okay. But it was funny because he kept saying “I’m DYING I HAVE PNEUMONIA”. So for gag gifts we try to remember all the things that happened to that person and this was the best I could find. It’s very small though, as it is a teaching guide. But it’s creepy and funny because of the eye balls.

A great joke
We gave this as a Christmas present, and proceeded to spend the afternoon throwing it at each other while making horrible jokes about catching pnuemonia. We couldn't care less about the educational value (though it did come with an informational tag), but it was cute, fuzzy, and a great gag gift.

Received giant microbe made in 2007
Take note: I didn't notice that all the reviews were from over 1 year ago, and it turns out that this giant microbe is at least one year old - the label says the toy is made in 2015, and the attached label says copyright 2007. The plastic bag it came in looks really old, as if it's been laying in some dusty corner for years. The color has definitely lost its shine, it's nothing like the new giant microbe I recently saw someone else get, it's shiny and soft and new. I would recommend getting it from a different seller if you want something that's new and gift-worthy.

Christmas Present
My husband bought this for me for Christmas--I teach Biology, so these are perfect for my lessons, and the kids love them! I think they're all adorable...as plush microbes only! :-)

Love it
If you have a child who is always sick, from one of these guys....they will love it. allows them to toss, squeeze and/or anything else to a germ that makes their life hell.

Fun and (potentially) educational
I picked up one of these for my girlfriend, who's a big fan of all the medical tv shows. She loves it. It seems to be well-made and durable. I'm going to get a few of the other microbes too.
