Rose Chronological Guide to the Bible (Rose Bible Charts & Time Lines)

This book contains so much helpful information that I don't know where to start. It really depends on who I'm talking to. If you have a question about the different religions and denominations, there's a section for that. It's factual, not opinions. Therefore, it doesn't hype one religion over another. Nor does it badmouth any cults or religions. There is an entire section on the tabernacle that explains every piece and preparation step the priests went through to meet with God at the Mercy Seat. A great model for prayer time. This book breaks down the Old and New Testaments, providing an overview and history of each book. Then there's the pictures of archaeological finds that provide proof of the Bible. I especially liked following through the pull-out section of the Genealogy of Jesus. How many times have you sat down with your Bible and tried to write out all of the names to see how we got from Adam to Jesus? This shows it all. I could go on and on, but this book is great for sharing with Christians and non-Christians who are seeking more understanding. It's easy to comprehend and provided in an unbiased way. We bought our first one, and a friend came to us asking questions. This book helped to answer some of those questions, and we sent it home with them. Since then, we've bought 4 more, each time giving it away to a friend or family member. Just bought another one to have on hand for the next conversation.

This is a beautiful book that is a wonderful companion to reading the Bible. This book enhances the reader’s understanding of the people, events, and timelines of the Bible. It has descriptions of each book and charts and graphs that clearly show the chronology of the books, contents , genealogy, and teachings. I highly recommend this book.

Great visuals of the old/new testament

This is a very worthwhile addition to the Bible study library for those actively studying all parts of the Bible. It gives them the chronological happens in the Bible in terms of the events in biblical times. It gave me a greater understanding of the events as they happened.

Perfect Biblical study tool to include in your library.

This is a wonderful reference book for studying the Bible. I've purchased many titles by the company Rose. They are always of high quality, thick paper and easy to use. I'd suggest that parents with kids aged 8 and up use these if they are homeschooling and incorporating a Bible component.

Good, clear chronology with nice illustrations to make the information easily understandable.

I didn't even bother looking through all of this. It has stuff you will know just from reading the normal Bible. I was looking for something that shows the books, chapters and verses in chronological order. I didn't want to read about a recap of the order of stuff that you see from reading any normal Bible/don't need a Chronological guide for. i.e. Abraham went here. (in Genesis) Then Abraham went here. (in Genesis/the same book)
