An underrated title - charming, funny and sad all in one go!
Bought this because I’m a big fan of 9 hours, 9 persons, 9 doors (and the sequels were okay). The game follows Date, a “detective” for a special branch of the police who use “psynching” to access people’s subconscious called the Somnium. His partner Aiba is a special AI who is instrumental in both the real world and within the somnia of people they suspect. The game revolves around one main case, and the story branches during the somnium levels. There’s many endings and one true ending (which was excellent). Both the investigation and psynching portions are fun and there’s lots of silly Easter egg inetercations between Date and Aiba. Psynching puzzles are pretty abstract compared to the escape room puzzles of 999, but I found them really fun and quite a challenge.I played using the Japanese voice acting, which I really enjoyed and from what I’ve heard I really like he English dub too.The graphics are what you’d expect if you’ve played ZTD (the sequel to 999) although the colour palette is far more fun and well organised. Apparently the switch version is of poorer quality than PS4, so if you’re a graphics person then get it on PS4.The cast was pretty variable for me. I personally found Iris irritating, and loved Mizuki and Boss. But there’s someone for everyone lol.Soundtrack was spot on, and I’ve been listening to it outside of playing the game.Overall... You should really consider buying this! It’s got a great story, fun gameplay mechanics and a perfect soundtrack! Super super underrated in my option and it deserves all the support it can get!

Fantastic branching story based game, with a great sense of humour
I really enjoyed Uchikoshi's (the writer) other games, but I held off on buying this for some reason or another. Since the lockdown happened, I decided I would buy it to see if it's as good as the others. It's fantastic. There are multiple branches to the story to explore, and many little nooks and crannies to get lost in. The running jokes are hilarious, but they don't interfere when the story becomes more serious. The characters feel fleshed out and well written, and I really appreciated how even characters that in some games would be played for jokes (Mama, for example), are given dignity and respect. The characters are realistic even if they are in some respects tropes, and they act differently (and I'd say realistically) depending on the branch and what happens in the branch. The twists in this game are fantastic and while you may feel a bit lost at first, it is worthwhile!I voraciously worked through all the branches and in all spent about 45 hours on the game. The English voice acting I found was a bit grating, but I find it distracting in general (since I grew up without voice acted games), so I chose the Japanese voice acting, which was pretty good.

Just brillaint
Aside from being sold from the fact this game was written by the same guy from the Zero Escape series, this has seriously gone beyond expectations. The story itself is fantastic and IMO, can be complicated to some but explained in a way that's much more easily understood. The humour in the game is not overboard and is actually funny. The moods it conveys feels real and genuine and the characters are well written and developed. Though a difficulty some may find are the Somnium exploration aspects. Sometimes what you need to do is rather obscure and confusing, though thinking hard about what to do next will make sense (in most cases).I will say that this game does have frame rate problems, especially in very fast moving/action packed scenes and the loading times can be longer than expected. I do think, however, these are pretty minor issues and didn't stop me enjoying the game.If you're a fan of visual novels, (murder) mystery, escape room and even comedy, you won't regret buying this! It's seriously underrated and I've seen this game's price to be over £50 (e.g. eShop) so getting here is a bargain for sure.

Drags too much..
Good game, really drags though, I didn’t like the flowchart it isn’t anything as good and straight forward as the zero escape games. Very confusing at times, the ending was a massive disappointment. If you’re hoping to get into this game thinking you’ll get another 999, VLR or ZTD experience you won’t get it at all. This is very mild in comparison. Lots of humour which gets quite repetitive, storyline isn’t that long either. Overall I’d rate it 3 stars = 5/10 rating. I wouldn’t recommend it, better visual novels out there.

Fast delivery, good product
Item was nicely packaged when it arrived and still sealed. Game runs nicely on my switch lite and is enjoyable so far! There were two cute stickers included in the game box.

Uchikoshi‘s Best Game
Love it! Haven’t beaten at the time of writing (only gotten 3 endings so far) but I love everything and everyone in this game. A definite improvement over Uchikoshi‘s (the game’s director) previous outings, especially Zero Time Dilemma. Pick up if you like the Zero Escape game or Danganronpa

Grandioso juego

Yeah!!!

The shipment arrived in good conditions, and the package was in perfect conditions. The game doesn't have Spanish language, but the English translation it's easy to understand and the plot it's quite interesting.
