High Heel Tips Replacement Dowels (6 Pair) - Beige/Tan, Small

Ordered them, got in right on time, just the right size I needed to replace my heel tips, and they are working perfectly.

New to the heel tip replacement game. These are GREAT quality heel tips, however they only fit one pair of my shoes. I thought the variety of sizes would increase the chances of finding a match. The nails on these are wider than most of my heels. The pair of tips that I was able to replace have held up really well.

The metal part is far to big to be placed into the show heel. I only gave it one star because my review wouldn't be submitted without it.

I bought these tips to replace 2 pairs of heels that had worn down from two different mainstream brands (both brands sell at all of the major department stores) and the tips did not fit either heels. The stud portion (metal) was too thick for both pairs of heels. I had to take it to my local shoe repair shop to get them fixed.I will keep these tips in hopes of using them on a pair of heels, but it's disappointing that neither of my broken heels were compatible. Could be a coincidence.

I am not too sure how I feel about these. This is great in theory and I love that this pack provides six sets (12 pegs) in the various sizes. I found that this size pack would be most applicable to most of my shoes, so I would not pick the larger sizes unless your heels are thicker overall.Tip: As soon as the original tip breaks, do not keep walking on them until you replace them! I found that some of my shoes that had broken off continued to flatten the nail and now I cannot get the original nail out in order to replace the tip. My fault!After I pulled out the original peg on a shoe, I found that when I inserted a new tip, it would not stay in. It slips and falls out so incredibly easily. I measured the nail of the new and old, and they are the same thickness/size so it is not that the nail is smaller. I am not sure why they won't stay in. I might try to super glue the edge of the plastic to the bottom of the heel while avoiding the nail so that I can replace again if needed.Pulling the nails out are also incredibly difficult. Even for those that are not flattened out, they are stuck in there so well that it takes an awful lot of effort and time to get the old nails out.Great concept, but not sure if it is worth the headaches to do it this way instead of just taking them to a cobbler.

Used this to fix a pair of wedges.... i ordered sizes too small and these are really only meant for true stilettos but these got my wedge heels back up and functional. Easy to "install"... just needed small pliers to remove my existing broken heel tips and these fit right in, didn't need a hammer or anything, I just pressed them in and stepped on them to secure them and they haven't budged since.

Easy to use and look great. Haven't walked on shoes to see how well they wear but can't beat for the price.

They look great and they enabled me to save a pair of my absolute favorite heels. the only problem is the size of the dowel that goes up into the heel. They were either too thin or too thick for the two pairs of shoes I wanted to fix. So, for my favorite shoes, my husband used a tiny piece of wood to stick up in the heel so that the dowel would stay in place. But for my other pair of heels, the dowel was too thick to go up into the heel so i couldn't use this product on those.I love that these heels are quiet--no clickety clack down the hallway at work anymore.
