Maidenform Flexees Women's Shapewear Seamless Hi-Waist Thigh Slimmer

I don't leave a lot of reviews, but I have to for this shaper. The material is so soft, and completely different from the shiny, heavy duty options out there that I didn't think it would do much, but boy was I wrong. I've worn every brand of shaper out there, and this one smooths me out better than anything else I've tried. Not to mention, the leg length is perfect if you've ever struggled to hike up waist and thigh slimmers that peek out from the bottom of dresses. The optional straps are genius, and prevent the top from rolling down and creating back fat.I have no idea why more manufacturers don't do this, but that's my number one issue and pet peeve with other shapers. Number two issue? Sausage thighs. NO SEAMS at the bottom of these also mean that they smooth things out without making the middle of your thighs look like a sausage casing if you want to wear them under pants. Will these require a little more time in the bathroom? Yes, plan accordingly. For what these do and the price that's a fourth of some more well known brands charge, it's worth the extra minute or two. Is this the most comfortable shaper I've worn? No, but it's the most effective and most versatile, working really well under dresses, skirts, shorts and pants (see sausage casing description for more on what shapers under pants usually look like) with NO ROLLING and NO BACK FAT. It's the closest thing I've worn to the smooth, airbrushed look you see in product photos and I think that's totally worth a little bit of discomfort for a few hours.

I am 210 lbs., 5' 6", and carry weight on lower half--got a booty and belly!--and I bought this shapewear in XL to wear under dresses for special events. With the removeable straps on, it fit as expected. Without the straps, I found that the top settled into a place that created a bulge on my back and sides, and when I pulled it up to try to smooth out the bulges, it slid back down with very little movement from me. The straps, for me, were a must-have--no bulges when top is in correct placement at bra line. It definitely feels more comfortable and secure around my middle and back with the straps attached. Also worthy of note--I have pretty thick thighs and although the legs of this shapewear fit over them fine, when I sit down, they frequently roll up. I think getting a bigger size so the legs stay down would have made made the shapewear too big everywhere else where it really counts, so I don't know any better solution than to deal with it and unroll the leg parts whenever I get a safe chance (bathroom, car, seated at a table for cover, etc.). If the legs didn't roll up, I would feel comfortable wearing this shapewear under jeans, pants, etc., but again, I bought it for dresses, so I'm not terribly disappointed. I really appreciate the smoothing I get from this shapewear, regardless of the leg-rolling issue. I think it is true-to-size, at least for me, and I can even double up with other shapewear for a sleeker look if necessary. I love the black color as I wear lots of darker clothing to special events, and the hubs thinks the black looks sexy, so--BONUS! The straps do not dig unless I am sitting down, but I think is to be expected considering how this kind of shapewear will naturally pull down as the body bends. It's a great piece to have to feel more confident in my clothes and a great price compared to other stores.

Purchased a L/14 and it fits a 5'2", 175 lb. frame. Good quality and the band at the top stays in place; does not roll down. Best if pulled up so the crotch fits snugly and the top edge abuts the bra line for comfort. These high waisted designs feel best if pulled up so they do not squeeze one's ribs. The legs do not create a bulge on the hem edge. I cannot even pull on a similar size Spanx. This style is comfortable, durable and well-priced. It fits fairly closed to sizing guidelines. If I were more willing to struggle, I think I could wear the next smaller size for more support. I would order again and recommend for purchase.

I thought this would be great because it had the straps. Well, they're a pain and a hassle, and I don't have time to take the dang thing apart when I've got to go to the bathroom... Which leads me to say that I did not realize there was no open crotch thing so you can pee with it on. I let these sit when I got them and by the time I pulled them out of the package to wear them, I saw that the crotch was closed, and noticed that it was too late to return these. I've worn them a couple times, but they're really my backup pair. The one good thing is that the panties do stay up with those straps, and they have a tight hold and smooth well (postpartum baby bump isn't so bulgy in them). The fabric is also nice and soft. So, you can buy cheaper, full-bodysuit with short boy short style onesies from target. They're hanes brand, I believe. $20 a pair. They've got a crotch opening. They're not five stars because the straps are so tight and short on me and not adjustable (long torso), and they're not as firm control, but they get the job done for the money.

I bought this item based on the reviews but i this i got it wrong.The shapewear is very soft and well made but not what I'm looking for.I needed something with firmer control,this doesn't deliver,there is no difference in my shape with it on or with it off.I guess maybe i ordered the wrong size,but i did follow the chart size.Just didn't work for me.Usually my purchases based on the reviews are spot on.I guess you cant win all the time.

The waist band of this shapewear is... small. I've got a bad back, so wriggling into this thing is not something I can do on even a semi-regular basis. Will likely return. I thought that because it was high-waist, it'd be larger. Once on, though, it's comfortable without pinching or causing bulges.

quedo justo como lo esperaba, aunque no la veo como faja faja ya que no aprieta el vientre pero esta ok

Compré esta faja pensando en que no se iba a marcar en un vestido entallado; sin embargo, se marca en la espalda. Al usar brassiere se ven dos líneas de gorditos en la espalda que hacen evidente que estas usando faja, además del doble tirante. Por lo demás muy cómoda, sobretodo en las piernas, no se marca nada en ellas. El material es bueno y resistente.
