OtterBox Commuter Series Case for Samsung Galaxy Note10 - Black

If I've had one gripe about this brand it's the bulkiness of the cases. I get it, it's well protected. My dad had his Note 5 in one for five years and I could probably dupe someone into thinking it's brand new despite all the dirt and dust it's been exposed to thanks to how solid the case is.All that said, this particular case gets the job more than done. It certainly adds a little bulk to my phone but it's no more than any other case you'd find out there, except I'd be ok with dropping my phone onto concrete to prove the point that this case will do a better job of protecting the device than the rest.It's slim, easy to take apart for cleaning, has a rugged appearance, and will keep your phone in one piece. What more can you ask for? (Well, a screen protector. Buy one of those.)

I have purposely waited two weeks as I believe it would be enough time to get a good use of my galaxy note 10 in my new otterbox commuter case before giving a review, I will begin with how well constructed these cases have been over the years and continue to give the best protection to the devices we care for friends! Now for my galaxy note 10 it feels like the worry of dropping it while using my stencil is completely gone with the awesome grip and thickness this otterbox commuter case gives it with it's two piece case giving g the optimal protection. I highly recommend this brand for all your devices if protection for you is most important friends.

It's a really nice, tight fit. I have yet to drop the phone (knock on wood) but I have faith in this case. It appears sturdy and durable.

The product is exactly as described and exactly what I was looking for.

Pros:- It is a nice case and attractive too (though I agree with some other reviewers it would be nice to have some other color options).- Price is good especially for an otterbox.- It goes on the phone simply and quickly.- Protects the phone well if you drop it. I've dropped mine a number of times now mostly on carpet but once on pavement from about 4ft (slid off my lap when I opened the car door).---Cons (only one):- The case is made of two parts. One is rubber and very easy to grip and hold on to. The second is Plastic (or tpu, whatever) and it is slick to grasp. If you look at the picture of the product in the description you will be able to see what I'm talking about. The plastic/tpu part of the case snaps on over the rubber to hold it in place. The problem is the galaxy note10 is a long, narrow device and because of the placement of all three buttons down the left side of the phone it forces you to grasp the phone at the exact location of the plastic/tpu on both sides. I've only had the phone a couple months and I've dropped it at least 6-8 times. In every case (except the one car incident mentioned above) it was because of the slick plastic on the sides of the case. The case did it's job (a plus) but I'm concerned that one of these days my luck will run out. Because of that I would give it 3.5 stars (if it were possible).A case should be as much about preventing an accident as it is protecting from one. All it would take is a little roughness or rubberizing of the tpu on the sides to solve this problem.On a side note there is not much out there for the note10 in the way of (decent) cases. A problem I've never had with any phone before.

So i'm not one to write reviews but i felt this warranted one. After working a twelve hours shift i had dropped my phone after geting out of my lyft ride. Said driver proceeded to run my phone over. I know what your thinking the screen has to be shattered. But no, not a scratch, crack, or even a smudge. The case on the other hand had a tire track on it but it took it like a champ. I can't recommend this product enough.

Finally bought myself some protection. The case makes the phone noticeably heavier and thicker. It of course doesn't protect the screen as well as one would hope, but the case juts out on the top and bottom to protect the screen from direct contact with the ground during drops. There isn't any protection it could give if you drop the phone on gravel or other uneven surfaces. It gets the job done though and I haven't had complaints.
