Its such big package. I was not expecting it to be so big. The bay leaves are great.Recommend it!

If you have some jam jars start filling them with bay leaves from the bag...and then take them with you when you visit. They make the perfect gift for anyone who cooks. These bay leaves actually have a fragrance so that when you open the jar and offer the contents to your friends and family they'll be so grateful to receive real quality rather than the insipid leaves which go by the name of bay leaves that one buys in the supermarket. You'll be asked back time and again in the hope that the bag hasn't run out (which it won't have as it's absolutely jam packed with leaves!)

It's tough trying to decipher user's comments regarding various products such as Bay Leaves. These were intended to be used in a faux jerk chicken recipe which calls for a bed of leaves on a grill to simulate the pimento wood. They worked fine for that purpose. There were some chards and pieces but most leaves were intact. They definitely provided the smoke necessary to produce the desired end result. I would buy again, but have also purchased a Bay bush for this purpose.

They are what they are, I bought them on line because, as a cancer patient who had high dose chemotherapy, it's not really ideal for me to go shopping. They appear to be quite expensive, but there is a hell of a lot for your money, and they are in a resealable pouch. I estimate that they will last me two years!

I got this as was fed up when buying bay leaves from supermarket only got a small amount also they always were tiny or broken this has loads in it and a decent size of leaf excellent buy

If this was hedge clippings then it probably wouldn't fetch the same price... unless you've got a bay tree hedge then it might. All decent size leaves though and plenty of them, I don't think we'll need to buy any more for a long time, there's so many that they may actually become an heirloom in fact.

Value for money, you will not find a better price here.

Perfect at least they arrived as whole leaves and not crumnbs
