Best option for beginners, super comfy and supportive for EDS
I have POTS and EDS and recently started doing yoga again to help manage my symptoms and pain, and this mat was great value for its price. I got the thinner one because it was cheaper (even though I hate thinner mats usually) and it was surprising how comfy this one was! It’s soft in all the right ways and makes exercise hurt way less for my joints. There was zero sliding around on it, it’s super stable. The length is perfect. I got the purple one for myself and the light blue one for my husband so I can force him to work out with me, and the colors are so bright and pretty. If you are looking to do yoga for Dysautonomia then this is the mat you’re looking for!

Thick, but not too soft. Perfect purchase
Thick, not too soft, but perfect on my knees. I am in my fifties, so things hurt more. I already did 5 Pilates classes on it, and it was perfect. Great for yoga, too.Easy to clean, just wipe it down.I was so happy with the purchase, I bought another one for my sister. Oh, and I threw out my old mat, which was one third of thickness of this one, and really worn.

Soft and cushy
So far so good. I like the color, the thickness and comfort of this yoga mat. I use it to put on the ground to do stretching exercises. At 60, I need extra cushioning and when I put this on the ground (concrete) outside, it is comfortable. I’ve only used it a couple of times, so I’m hoping it wears well. As

Comfortable, but doesn't seem durable
Very comfortable and thick. However, it seems like plain foam. No protective coating. On my first use, it started scraping off from friction with feet doing yoga, so it won't last too long.

PERFECT for Overweight+Tall+Stiff Guys New To Stretching ~
I'm 6'3-6'4 depending on the time of day, I weigh *just* under 400lbs thanks to a decade of sedentary work followed by six months of better eating and exercise. Now that I've hit a point where I can be on a stationary bike for like, 30-40 minutes without getting gassed and I'm getting up to about 5 minutes on an elliptical at a time, I've been looking at ways to do other low-impact exercise and increase my ability to recover after lifting. I've been really digging the hip adductor/abductor machines, but they make my leg muscles suuuper tight and my flexibility already wasn't great. So, stretches!Problem? Yoga mats are for small, skinny people. I'm big, my butt don't fit on the mat right. I'm heavy, the little thin mats might as well not exist when I kneel on them, under my weight the matt compresses so much it's literally just like kneeling directly on the hard ground and, again, I'm heavy so that hurts.Solution! An INCH-THICK squishy mat that's slightly wider than all the ones at the gym so my big butt fits on it and at no point do I ever feel my bones on the ground. I will say, it's actually so thick I can't "securely" stand on it, my feet are always moving around because it's so springy. I might need to pick up the 1/2" version as well so that I have one I can hold standing positions longer without wiggling around. But! For doing the big ground stretches, trying to do sort of "splits" to increase mobility, this is perfect, because my bad knees never get tired or hurt and I can just DO all my long floor stretches now even though I'm tall and big and heavy and stiff.

Love this mat! I got the 1/2 inch mat. It’s soft and super lightweight too! It’s perfect - exceeds my expectations.

The Love of Yoga Workouts
I’m in love so far. As long as it holds up I will be happy because the thickness is great on my knees.

Cushioned Comfort
I love this thick mat. Due to an injury, it's difficult for me to lay on my right hip, but when I'm doing my pilates it is well cushioned and I have very little pain. Highly recommend for everyone because it's so comfortable and firm enough to result in a better floor workout.
