Better than steel wool
I used this to reblue a rifle barrel and it worked great! It also doesn't leave metal shreds behind because it's not steel. If steel wool is used and any small piece is left behind it can cause rust. Not a problem with this wool.

Good sturdy soap scrubber, doesn't rust
It is 👍 at cleaning burned on cooking mess and scrubbing items have cooking grease and residue. It doesn't rust and fall apart like SOS pads after several uses.

Works Ok; Still Sheds Particles
Works "ok". Still sheds small particles like the "steel" wool. Durability is so-so. Performed it's need of helping to sand down some primer on a very contoured piece of wood between painting coats.

Just OK
I bought these for cleaning, so not sure how they work with the strippers they mention. For cleaning, these aren't any better than a good old fashioned scotch-brite scouring pad or sponge.

Great cleaning tool
This is one more product not available in a local store. My kitchen counters and sink are Swanstone, a product that is colored throughout its depth. This coarse synthetic steel wool will buff out nicks. It will also scrub my sink back to stain free white. I was relieved to find it on Amazon.

Great substitute for fine steel wool
You can't beat these for final buffing of woods which have been polyurethane-finished. I use a wipe on poly for most projects, and this pad will smooth out the final finish very nicely, especially if the wood is pretty smooth to begin with. You can also experiment with placing the pad between a small orbital sander and the wood surface. This will yield a more aggressive polishing, but go easy.

Great for refinishing furniture
These are my go-to for an oil rubbed finish.

Perfect for my projects
I use this to apply oil to my wood boards. No color or fiber transfer, and helps with even spread and absorption of the oil.

Cumple bien con su función
La envoltura es muy frágil porque es del mismo material. Se puede agregar con todo y bolsa.

Lasts long and cleans like magic
Bought this way back in 2017. Bought it to use on the glass areas of my cars. Did its job very well.In the last 5 years, I have only used two pads. The other 6 still remains in mint condition.Worth the money I had paid then.

Not worth the price
This is basically just a bunch of small green scrub pads

A fantastic (and inexpensive) improvement over standard steel wool - watch my video for Real World information
The media could not be loaded. A fantastic improvement over standard steel wool; not only does it not leave tiny bits of steel in your sink that then rust, and does not stick a sharp piece of wire under your thumb nail, it actually works better than steel wool on all sorts of pots & pans (my Sunday afternoon job) as well as electronic strip board (see video) to make it shine before soldering. So we now use this after years of using standard steel wool on our pots and pans, which whilst the latter cleans effectively does scratch the surface, unlike this product which cleans but in a more gentle manner and does not leave steel filings in the bottom of your sink. Neither does it sit there quietly rusting in a damp ball on the side of your sink but can be easily shaken to remove water and it then dries quite normally. For me, as an avid electronics enthusiast, it cleans my circuit boards and strip board prior to soldering absolutely brilliantly and leaves not steel filings to short circuit things afterwards. It last a long, long time (see the piece in the video which I must have used for 6 months). And it is most certainly kinder to my hands with no puncture wounds to my thumbs. And the cherry on the cake is the low price of this product - it's hardly worth hesitating considering the price it's being sold for.Better than steel wool in every respect.
