It works great. I can also plug my iPhone in at the same time and it will import pictures from my iPhone to my iPad. Or I can plug my Apple charging cable into the camera adapter and into the USB port at the same time I’m using the internet and it charges the iPad, as well. I’ve been using this setup for a year with no issues. The usb port’s power cable recently quit working, and I can still use the usb hub to access the wired internet on my iPad, but it drains the iPad’s battery quickly. Some appliances are 110 - 120v only in which case you would also need a voltage convert along with the wall adapter otherwise you would burn out the unit.
