My dog loved his last bed so much that when it fell apart he laid down in the remains and mourned. Needless to say we got them a new one… These beds are notoriously hard to clean because you get off the covering and then you have to get it back on. You can do it but it’s a hassle and not easily done. This bed would’ve been so much better if they could’ve added an extra layer or two or three of cushion on the bottom… I imagine just like the last one he’ll scratch and paw and spin around to get comfy before laying down. Eventually this will end up tearing everything up = shredded bed at end of its life. However that said, it’s lasted a couple months so far and it’s been such a good substitute. Happy dog, no more mopping and now all is well.... worth the price in end. :-)

This bed is not what I expected. I thought the center pillow was removable (it is not a separate piece) - it zips out along with the attached bolster fabric. I was hoping to put a pillow case over a removable center pillow for easy cleaning. Size L "just" fits my 35lb pit bull mix. She loves to curl up & this bed is perfect for curling. The egg crate foam base is flimsy, but good enough for my purposes - I put this bed on my leather couch & she crawls right into it. Keeps her off the couch, sort of. I got this for 15 dollars. Not sure I would pay more than that though. But it suits my needs well enough.

I love this dog bed, but this is my second purchase because after washing the first one, it fell apart and the outer material shrunk so much that iI wasn’t able to get them back onto the foam padding. Great looking bed and the dog loves it. It was worth another repurchase, but this time, I’ll just spot clean it.

This is like the good all days when you can buy a bed that was structured. This one seems to be holding up well and keeps its shape.

As other reviews have noted, the bed runs small. I ordered a Large for our 30 pound terrier mix; the bed works for him since he usually sleeps curled up. The major problem with the bed is that the faux lambs wool comes off when our dog paws at it in his nesting behavior (circling around and around in the bed while pawing its surface). We've had the bed less than a week and already a significant portion of the faux lambs wool has ended up on the floor around the bed. Messy, and a sign that this bed won't last very long. Another problem with the bed is that the "egg crate orthopedic base" is rather thin, maybe no more than one-half inch.12/1/18 updated review. I have downgraded my original 2 star review to 1 star. Washed the bed for the first (and only) time today. Large chunks of faux lambs wool fell off in the washing machine, and the so-called orthopedic base (which is not removable) is a heap of lumps. The bed is now useless. Find yourself a different bed; this one is very poorly made!

Flimsy quality overall. "Orthopedic" cushion is thin, too small for the bed.

This bed is a good quality for the price. It's nothing spectacular, but that's to be expected at this price point. So far, the sides are holding up well and keeping their shape. There's a decent layer of padding on the bottom. My dog is happy with it, so I am too.

We purchased a small version for my cats and they loved it, but my dog kept trying to use it so we ordered a bigger one. It arrived missing the bottom foam. We returned it to Amazon who promptly replaced it. The replacement was also missing the bottom foam. As per Amazon suggestion, we contacted Furhaven on Feb 3 who said they would send out a replacement as soon as I sent a screenshot of my Amazon order which I did immediately. Two weeks, a follow-up email and many attempted phone calls later, no news. I sent a message through their website and was told to resend the screenshot because they recently had to delete their emails. ??? I resent the information immediately. Five days later, still no confirmation, so I sent another email. Still no answer. I sent another message on their website. Still no sign of life. In the meantime, my cat has slept in the bottomless bed and so I can't even return it to Amazon anymore.

My German Sheppard loved this bed so much he didn’t want to give it up when he outgrow it at 4 months 50lbs. Plus it is well made cause he bit the crap out of it before it ripped.
