Q: What is needed for installation? does it just plug in to a normal outlet or is something else needed. also is this made in the usa? thank you.

It runs on 220 V so if you do not have that in your house, you will need an electrician to install it and an outlet near the Shower/Tub. Frequently there is a closet near the bathroom and it can go in there and the unit can be connected through there. Other than that, it is very easy to install in the shower or tub. Q: Does it blow warm air immediately, or does it start with some seconds of cool and then warms up?

All electric dryers require a short time to warm up the colder air. The only exception is if the unit is a hand dryer which has been used recently so all of the air in itis still warm and there is no delay.
