Starts charging even under an LED light
I bought a solar charger back in 2010 and it was finally time to replace it after holding less than half it's original charge. I've had this new one for about a week, and I have a few observations. The sun/ solar charging is slow. This is to be expected for the type and size of the solar panel used, and the battery capacity. Setting under direct sunlight for 8 hour filled it up about half way. That's fine, as this is something that would be best left in window of the house for charging as an emergency charger, or for use in camping. At full charge it completely recharges my phone 3 times. The build quality seems very good, but the the hinge on the USB port could use a change. Maybe a silicone cover? Either way I have dropped this twice (my fault) and the door popped off both times but did not break. Snapped right back into place.Overall I would recommend this solar charger for the price and build quality.

A Great Flashlight, This Will NOT Charge An IPad, Will Charge An iPhone
The Good and the Bad. I love the LED flashlight. I tuck this in my lunch bag that I take with me on my runs as a delivery driver. I start my day in the very early hours of the morning, and park to deliver in some very dark places. It is a nice bright flashlight. With it being rechargeable, that is even better. The flashing emergency lights may come in handy in an emergency for me. I like that I can charge it with either a power adapter or the USB power. I have not tried to charge the internal battery yet with the solar panel. I am afraid to sit this in the sun right now with the Oklahoma summer heat, maybe in the fall. Oddly enough, I like the eye hook on the side with the D-ring. I use that to latch on a bundled iPhone charging cord. It will charge up my iPhone SE 1st Edition. Not quite as fast as the iPhone power adapter. The battery will NOT charge my iPhone up to 100%, it only charges to 99%, and stops. Oh Well ! The manual list all kinds of devices you can plug in to charge. Note: this will NOT charge my iPad, it clearly shows in the corner of the screen NOT CHARGING. Note both these comments are with the internal battery fully charged. Also to note it clearly states in the manual that you can not completely charge the internal battery with the solar cell. The battery pack must be plugged in to a power adapter or USB power to completely charge the internal battery. The charge indicator lights are a nice feature. One thing to note: You don’t have to press any buttons on the unit to charge your phone. Just charge the internal battery to four lights, and plug your phone in to the USB on the battery. The button on the side of the unit is ONLY for the flashlight.I have looked at MANY of these on Amazon, and this is the first Solar Battery Pack I’ve found under $25. A nice plus would have included some USB charging cords, iPhone and Android.

Great addition to my emergency kit.
This little device is going to replace my backup batteries that I use when I am out and about and can't charge my phone. It took just a little longer to bring my phone back to full charge than it took for my phone to be charged into the chargers at home. The flashlight is bright and the design of the device allows you to lay it flat to be hands free and it won't roll around like a traditional flashlight. The strobe light didn't impress my grandkids when I tried to use it to show how "groovy" grandpa was.

Glorified power bank
Had this over six months now, as power bank its OK. I have an old LG phone it will charge it from 50% two maybe three times which is no better or worse than other off brand banks I have. The solar part does not work as stated. I left it in the sun for 3 days after draining it to about half way and plugged my phone in which had 48% check hour l an hour later phone was only at 56% and the bank was dead. Worst still battery indicator dispite having 5 lights only tells you full or dead it can go from full to dead in an instant. All the others gell whistles are nice but not needed. Compass works but always forget it's there and is cheap as can be like the carabiner. I can't tell if it's metal or plastic and key ring holding it just as bad.Any good is flashlight bright multi modes but rather now have a better solar panel than all these useless bells. So, it's OK power bank but nothing more it fails at everything else.

Huge capacity
I have had this Power Bank for a couple of weeks now, using it every day, and it has been an outstanding addition to my daily carry items. It has effectively replaced my old favorite power bank. The old power bank has 10000 mAh and weighs 215 grams. The new Power Bank had 20000 mAh and weight 255 grams. They are about the same size, with the new Power Bank being about 8mm thicker - please see attached picture. The new Power Bank charges my phone, and my tablet, easily, for two days work, whereas my old power bank barely got me through one full day. The solar capacity on both devices is about the same, and an estimated minimal daily charge is indicated, though in a pinch, that might be enough to provide enough energy for in an emergency situation. I do not need to have flashlights on my power bank, but I guess it is useful to some people. I have found this new Power bank to be reliable, holds a charge, and has double the capacity of my old power bank, all in a package that is comparable.

Solar Powered but Takes Forever to Recharge via Solar
To start, I think it could have been a great product. I bought this in June, charged the first time as instructed and used it on one camping trip. I recently took this to a hiking trip and had it strapped to my backpack to charge. I also had it near the window of the hotel and on the top of my dash in the car with direct sunlight. Seems as though it takes FOREVER to recharge via solar. It's barely made it up to the 1st blue dot with over 40+ hours of direct sunlight and didn't get to charge my phone once during this hiking trip. Not sure if mine is faulty or the recharge process takes forever but I wouldn't spend my money on this again. I bought a solar powered power bank so that I can use the sunlight to charge, not my electric outlet.
