Dakine Girls Brooke Messenger Bag

I looked long and hard for a bag that would meet my needs. This one has come the closest. I really love the way it looks and the way it is organized makes sense. There is enough room for my 13.3 inch laptop, books, and other things you can fit in there. It is a good sized bag. My only two complaints are that it doesn't have a top handle just the shoulder one and it doesn't have a separate water bottle holder (although my water bottle fits easily inside the front pocket). Those two complaints are minor and the bag is still worth it.If you're looking for a stylish bag with lots of space and functionality, this is the bag for you!

I own a backpack from Dakine which I absolutely love, however I needed something that I wouldn't have to fight with during the winter months while wearing my heavy coat. This bag has more space than you might think simply looking at the picture, however there is not much organization within the bag itself. There are two main spaces within the bag when you lift the flap. The front space is a large, zippered pouch with a slim "sleeve" on the far side which is a good place for a notebook or a couple folders. On the wall of this sleeve there are a couple pen slots, phone/mp3 player and accessory pockets. The rest of this space is just large open space for books or laptop cords or lunch. Behind this front pouch is another zippered compartment that is padded for you to put your laptop. I like the security of this bag with each compartment being zippered along with the closure on the outside flap. The shoulder pad is a great feature, and the back of the bag has a sleeve which you can use to slide the bag onto the handle of a suitcase if using it while tavelling. I am very happy with the construction and pattern, the highland print is very nice in person (it is darker, more of a raspberry and dark turquoise than pictured).

The quality is great. However, in my opinion, it's way too big.. I think this would be perfect for someone who travels a lot, but for college it's way too big...

I have tried and returned several other bags. I really like this one because it has a nice structured laptop compartment with ample padding, but the other compartment has very little structure, which is perfect if you don't find lots of little pen, credit card, and money holders helpful. It is a large are that easily handles my leather portfolio, cord, portable hard drive in a case, mouse and other miscellaneous items. The strap is adjustable and has a very nice shoulder pad. I wasn't looking for a stylish bag, just a functional one but the bag is nice looking with a subtle zebra pattern and blue/green zipper pulls and strap hinges.

We got this for our 10 year old daughter for Christmas. She absolutely love it! There are many places in the front pocket for her many little things. She is able to use the back part for her lap top when she brings it home from school. Other times she just shoves her binder in it. We are very happy with this. I only wish I needed one...

I love this bag!It fits my laptop in the back sleeve,its big enough for clothes when I'm away from home for a night.Theres handy little pockets inside for my phone and ipod.I'd definitely recommend this to someone.Dakine makes incredibly durable and cute bags!

I purchased it and the duffle bag above for a cruise. They both worked very well due to limited space. I plan to buy other pieces of the pattern for my collection

This is a great bag plenty of room well made.Very pretty could even use for a over nite bag.If you buy this bag you won't be sorry.
