NcSTAR Tactical Green Dot Scope Built-in Red Laser

Put on M-4 in 300 Blackout. works very well. Looks excellent.

Purchased 2 and returned them both. The green dot reticle did not display properly on either unit and neither one would work at all with a replacement battery. The second unit turned on the laser and green dot when the laser button was depressed. I think these units have electrical problems and not sure about the manufacturer's qaulity control at all. Off to look for something else.

First off, mine powered down after firing one round. Thankfully someone in the comments section mentioned they discovered the battery temporarily lost connection under recoil. I made a thin brass shim out of some material I had in the shop and taped it to the bottom of the battery. Then used an razor knife to cut a hole for the spring to make contact. Problem cleared right up and I had no more trouble with it powering down after that. Secondly, the adjustment for the green Dot reticle are in reverse. I adjusted them left they went right. After figuring that out it was no problem to get it sighted in. Other than these two problems I love mine. It's new now so if it holds up to good use and I intend to really test it I might recommend this product. So far those are the only two issues I have had. Hopefully this will help someone else who might have issues as well.

I have received the scope today. And I guess the one star review were right. I took it to a range tonight to try out and experienced all the issues other reviewers had. Firstly it's impossible to zero out nor the scope nor the laser. They both go out of sync/sight after each round. This is not surprising because upon closer inspection the dot sight itself is made of plastic regardless of aluminum outer body. Now the other issue is that the dot sight and the laser are turning off occasionally after firing a round. I think I found what's the issue, the battery gets intermittently disconnect due to recoil force. I've tried to put a metal (small washer) spacer between the battery and it contact to sit it better and it seems to resolve the issue. But in overall this is unacceptably low quality / defective product that can't be used for any real life application. Hope I'll be able to return it!

Good sight for the money. Handled the recoil of a .223

Excellent product to pass my expectations.

I tried on this sight at an airsoft store and it performed great. But after buying one on here, i regret it. I cant even turn the sight off. The brightness switches dont function at all. So i have to remove the battery everytime. Other than that, its what I expected.
