The best waterproofing footwear I've had has been the SIDI On ...
I'm a year round motorcyclist and commute daily in and out of D.C. I have about a 45 minute drive. The best waterproofing footwear I've had has been the SIDI On Road boots. They finally wore out. I bought the SIDI Veritgo track boots which, have extended armor on the heels and therefore can make good fitting waterproof overboots hard to find. The best were the Totes overboots which they quit making. Then I tried Frogg Toggs. The boot material is stout and kept me dry but didn't like the flimsy straps and clunky feel.Having said all that, I did a lot of research and elected to try these. Glad I did. They are the next best thing to the Totes. At least for me. They are SO easy to put on and take off. No zippers. Just a Velcro strip up the center with a WIDE gusseted opening. The straps are made of good heavy duty material. Had no problem with the buckles. As for sizing, I spent a lot of time with this. The SIDI boots I have are American size 10/Euro 44. I looked at the NEOS sizing chart, measured my boot, contemplated, then measured again. I got a size L for the NEOS. My boots "JUST" fit. There is no stretching or stress but they are snug which is what I need for good operation of the foot controls. There is just a little extra material across the instep but it does not get in the way of operation. Make sure you get your boot heel all the way into the NEOS. I expect these to last for a while. My one concern was the height of the boot. At 10" it seemed a little short but with my rain pant over top of them, I've been through heavy downpours with no problem. After all, I'm not wading through streams.I went ahead and gave them 5 stars for ease of ingress and egress, waterproofness, fit and price.Oh, you will squeak and echo walking down tiled halls until the soles dry out. I can live with that.

Best boots ever!
We were determined to keep walking outdoors during this COVID-19 winter here in Wisconsin. I wanted to keep wearing my well-fitting Brooks running shoes and went looking for a pair of overboots. NEOS fit the ticket perfectly! I can slip them on easily over my runnings shoes and cinch them up so they are not sloppy when I walk. They keep my feet dry, and the traction is pretty good too. I've taken to wear them for all of my errands, too ... they work great in wet and sloppy parking lots. They are not exactly warm, but I don't need them for that reason. Too, they are easy on and easy off. EXACTLY what I was looking for! (I raved so much that my husband got a pair, too, and loves his as well.) Measure YOUR SHOE carefully, though - the sole of whatever shoe you are planning on wearing has to fit into insole of the boot. GREAT product!

The perfect carless commuter model overboot.
I owned another pair of NEOS boots before this one, and they were awesome. The only thing wrong with them was that they got cut by something and were leaking pretty badly, so I had to get rid of them. And I downsized, so to speak, to this model.I am much more impressed with this model, to be frank. It's not quite the rugged boot that the previous model was (The Voyager), but for my purposes (urban commuting via bus/foot, mostly, along with playing with the kids in the snow) this boot is superior.1. It's much lighter and easier to put on and take off.2. It's got a completely flat, very thin, mostly flexible sole on it. I primarily wear minimalist shoes and these overboots protect my shoes/feet without being too constricting on the shoe inside. They've got pretty good foot mobility on them.3. It still has reinforcement on the heel and toe - albeit with sturdy waterproof fabric instead of rubber.4. They pack nicely. As long as they've dried out completely, I can wrap these up and toss them in my backpack if they're not needed for a trip home from work. Or if I might need them later I can toss them in. They're very compact.5. They look much less like Frankenstein's boots than the Voyager model did (which more amused me than annoyed me, but for some it may be a factor).Highly recommended.

Sizing for NEOS Villager All Season Waterproof Overshoes
Many of the reviews for this item commented on sizing. I followed the recommendations, including checking the NEOS official website, and carefully measuring the shoes to go into the overshoes. Several reviews led me to believe the sizing of the overshoes ran a bit small. I was looking for overshoes for Dr. Scholl's Therapeutic soft soled shoes, size 9EE. The Dr. Scholls shoes measured 4 1/2 wide and 11 1/4 long with fairly thick soles; the NEOS size chart said medium overshoes were 4 3/8 wide and 11 1/2 long. I was concerned the overshoes would be too narrow because the shoes they were to cover have fairly thick soles. When I tried to call NEOS to discuss, I wasn't able to get anyone to answer the phone despite several calls. Hmmmmm..... So, I ordered the LARGE NEOS overshoes but they were quite a bit longer (12 1/8) and didn't really fit well. Before returning them, I ordered the medium. The medium overshoes fit well so now I'm returning the large. I have yet to discover if the buckle will last during regular use, but will try to revisit this review after some actual use of the overshoes and add input. I DO like how they open and close widely to make it fairly easy to put them on my senior mother's feet when she already has her shoes on.

Water resistant and easy to put on
I rated this product 4 out of 5 stars because of the fit. Following the sizing directions I ordered a medium to fit over work shoes (flats). The shoes do not fit inside the boots at all, so I ordered the large for the same flats (I wear a 7-1/2 shoe). I can get the flats into the boots but not easily. At least I know they will not fall off.The shoes are mostly water proof, except along the velcro closure where water leaks in. Of course I have used these overboots in countries with monsoonal rain storms (Sri Lanka and Singapore) so I appreciate that they keep the majority of the water out.The tread is great, I can feel it gripping so I don't have to worry about slipping and falling.
