I picked this blanket bc it looked very nice and was midweight. It arrived packaged beautifully, I love a product that’s thoughtfully packaged. Its a beautiful light grey color, so soft and had a nice sheen upon opening. Excellent midweight, perfect for all weather except deep winter for me.It does snag! My mini dashie sleeps with me and I noticed right away that her claws were catching, causing snags and upsetting her, her claws sometimes got stuck and it was an ordeal. So I made a little cotton cover using a pretty cotton quilting fabric I had, sized to cover the general area she sleeps on. It has helped a lot to prevent pulls.We recently had some renos done at home which created a lot of dust, I machine washed/dried the blanket and the lovely softness and sheen are gone. It also shrank substantially, not unexpected from pure cotton. It also sort of tightened up, the loose weave is close now, again not unexpected from cotton. It’s still a great blanket, just mentioning in case someone doesn’t know how much cotton will shrink and slightly change after machine washing. A good cotton blanket will last years and be laundered many times too, I don’t expect this will shrink much more in future, the initial washing and drying usually does most of the shrinking.Overall this is a great blanket for the price and I highly recommend it, even more if you don’t have cats or dogs sleep on it, if you do just expect snags, not a fault of the blanket.

First of all, I’ve only given it four stars because I have not laundered the blanket yet. It is so incredibly soft. I like the sheen of the blanket. Even though it’s relatively lightweight, it is so incredibly warm, especially under my bedspread. I would call it hotel quality, and highly recommend it.

I first purchased the folkstone blue. It is a beautiful shade and matches the color as advertised. It didn’t fade when I washed it, and also remained soft to the touch. These gorgeous blankets are 100% cotton, which is so hard to find at an affordable price and they are worth every penny! The blanket is lightweight for the summer months and being a hot sleeper, it’s working well for the winter also. These are well made and I’ve not experienced any fraying. I can’t say enough about them and would give 10 stars if I could. That being said, I loved the blanket so much that I purchased a second one in sage green so that I can switch up the color when I want. I highly recommend these blankets.

Wow this is an amazing blanket. I previously bought a very fuzzy soft one and it was very warm but it kept slipping around beneath the quilt and the sheet.This one is very heavy and warm and it's also a larger size so it drapes really well over the edges of the bed. I'm using this on a waterbed and it is very successfully keeping the heat in and making for a comfy experience. Because it's a little happier it's almost like one of those weighted blankets. The light lavender I ordered is beautiful.Great design would definitely order again.

I just received my blanket and put it on my bed yesterday. It arrived quickly and was in a nice fabric bag.The blanket didn’t have any weird smell but I washed it before I used it. It washed up really nice and didn’t seem to shrink. The fabric is a nice quality and just the right weight for winter and by itself for summer.I have a queen sized bed but I got a king size. I wanted it to be bigger than the queen. There is plenty of blanket to cover my bed and extra in case it shrinks over time. Highly recommend this blanket. The price of these cotton blankets cost about $200.00 on bedding sites and this one is just as nice for a lot less money.
