Daws: A Man Who Trusted God (LifeChange)

I would recommend this book to anyone serious about following the Lord in obedience to Scripture. Dawson Trotman's life was wholly dedicated to obeying and serving the Lord by reaching the lost for Christ and then discipling them so they can grow and reach others; an amazing life and legacy.

Without a doubt, this is the meatiest biography I've ever read. Feel the author did such a great job of presenting a great Christian leader and even presented his failings and shortcomings, which were not bearly as bad as most people's failings and shortcomings. It is great that the book showed that Daws died as he lived...on a razor's edge of Godliness.

Incredible man. Incredible book. The George Mueller of the 20th Century. Forever changed the worldwide body of Christ. Six out of five stars for the book. Priceless - the man.

While I appreciate this man and the work he did and his passion for prayer and making disciples, this book was very redundant. The accounts written about were so similar I felt like I was reading the same thing over and over which made the book really long. Dawson Trotman was used mightily by God and I am so thankful for his life and work; but probably wouldn't recommend this book to anyone, I had a hard time getting through it.

Incredible book. I have been wading through it for awhile. A must read to really understand the background to the Navigators.

It was A gift to my father in law and he really likes it.

One can gain valuable insight into how God dealt with this leader of men. Strenths and flaws both examined, victories won, and prayers answered. His strength was his commitment to The Word.

I have patterned my life after the example he set. I did not know him personally, but have been associated with The Navigators for over 50 years and still follow the principles he set forth.
