With every chapter the plot thickened. This book left me the edge of my seat. I was a ball of emotions. This book was well written and captivating. I must find out what happened next.

I had this book on my list last year and let it slip pass me. OMG so glad I found it. This a VERY GOOD BOOK. Please don't sleep on it like I did. I promise you won't be disappointed. I have read the first book in the White Lines series years ago and I have two other books by Ms. Brown. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Enjoyed this book from being to end. I choose this as my book club selection and it didn’t not disappoint. Our book club discussion what hot and heavy. The love and twist throughout the story made it a real page turner! All the ladies enjoyed it so much so that many of the ladies had already looked up and found single black female and read before we met to discuss this book. Great read and even better, sixteen ladies are now enjoying reading Tracy Brown novels!!

Oh my god, I loved this book. In the past Tracy Brown books focalized from many perspectives but this book stayed right on target with Crystal and Troy and I loved it! It's so weird I read my first Brown book when I was in high school and the main characters were my mom's age (born in the 60s) so it was so weird having a main character that if I did my math correctly was born in 1988 (I was born in 89) it feels like I've grown up with Brown's books. The connections between myself and Crystal were crazy, I too was an English major in college and quite reserved during that time as well. But this isn't about me sorry, I just love how this book flows the writing has evolved dramatically. This type of focalized narration is a welcomed change for the next book and I can't wait for the next installment to this book because the way you left us, I know there has to be another one. If you love Brown books, you're going to love this one. FYI Brown could give a few tips to these other authors on how to write a sex scene cause BABY they were lit!!

What a good story. Crystal is most definitely a boss. Who experience true love. Who’s on Top of her GAME.

This was a page turner like most of Tracy's books. Troy was truly in love with Sabrina and would do anything for her. The twist is that while he made sacrifices for his family, he didn't know the depth of their underhanded schemes. The love Sabrina was real since she plotted for revenge but didn't want Troy killed. Even though she moved on she was becoming hard without Troy in her life. I expect to see a sequel based on them hating each other then coming together again as boh were used by year families

It starts off slow but picks up about midway through. Based upon the way it’s written, the dots are difficult to connect until Quincy and Crystal start to really tell their story. Then the light bulb clicks and it all starts to come together. Once the action picked up, I thorough enjoyed it. I only have two criticisms. 1) The reader is completely confused when Quincy first gets out and he and Crystal start talking. I literally had to go back and re-read pages to see what I missed. Only to realize I didn’t miss a thing. It was just the way Tracy chose to reveal the revenge plan. 2) Very unrealistic that those two were deeply in love in college yet this man totally did not recognize her face, body or voice less than ten years later. That makes no sense.But all in all, really good read.

This book started off slower than I anticipated, but once it started rolling, it did just that ROLL! In this book Crystal is the poster girl of a sister that has it "going on"! She has the dream job, clothes, car and house, but there is someting dark and mysterious lurking underneath Crystal's exterior. Once the story started to unfold I was left with my mouth hanging wide open. If you're looking for a read full of surprises that will leave you in awe, this is defimitely a read for you.

I loved it, I don’t think anyone could have expected such a twist!!

Fab read! I honestly did not see the twist coming. Will they ever meet up again? Will there be a part 2.
