Great hose, though not quite pro quality
Great medium-duty 4500psi 50 footer. Comes with 3/8 inch QC couplings, male on one end and female on the other. Includes the o-ring, and it is installed on the female coupling. Also has bend guards on each end, as shown in the picture.Note, this is for higher-pressure machines. This will not work out the box for mid- and lower-pressure machines, such as most every electric washer and most every 2500-3400psi gas washer. It is not the products fault if you order the wrong hose/connectors. You should order this if your setup uses 3/8 inch QC couplings, such as you would find in most every machine above 3500 or so psi. Check your machines specs first before ordering. This will not work out the box with 1/4 inch or 5/16 inch hose setups, unless you change the connectors on this or your system. The hose itself is rated 4500psi. My machine can do 4200psi/4.0gpm. Always, always, always, lower the pressure on your machine when testing new hoses. If the hose bursts or a connector comes undone, this can be a very dangerous situation. Start low and check the entire length of the hose. Gradually increase pressure and re-check the hose. Keep raising it until you reach your desired working pressure and re-check the hose. Use it for a short while and re-check the hose. Really, you should be doing this every time you use your machine, and not just when the hose is new. Its smart and safe. The hoses themselves are high-quality, but I would not say pro quality. These hoses are too flexible for day-to-day use and abuse. These are the kind that will easily kink and ruin themselves if you are not careful. Don't get me wrong. I am not calling them cheap. They are good hoses. However, compared to other comparably-priced pro-level hoses I have had in the past, these are not the best. As long as you can keep them from kinking, they should be fine for many years. As for corrosion in the braiding. First of all, make sure to roll up your hoses in such as way as to allow the water to drain out completely. It takes practice, but you can get most of that water out. Also realize that all hoses have this "problem." Its just that you usually cannot see the braid. These are translucent, and that's why now all of a sudden you can see it. If this is really a problem for you, I would recommend you leave the pressure washing thing to the pro's. Really, this is not a problem in itself. Its normal. Bubbling hoses are bad. Rusted braid, eh, not a big deal.I was able to use two of these plus the OEM 50 footer, for a total of 150 feet with my machine no problem. Still had great pressure at the tip. If you need a long reach, just buy more 50 footers. Do not waste your time, effort and money with 100 footers. 50 footers are better in every way except price. Well, price at least in the short term. In the long run, 50 footers are cheaper. Also, 50 footers allow for easily customized setups. If you only need 50, then only use 50. Add more as needed. Also, if one bursts, its not the end of the show if you get my meaning. When a 100 footer bursts, it hurts your feelings. Also, 50 footers are easier to clean up at the end of the day. I did this as a business for many years. Trust me, stay away from the 100 footers.

Awesome Pressure washer hose
I purchased a Generac 6022/5989 2,700 PSI 2.3 GPM 196cc OHV Gas Powered Pressure Washer and used the hose supplied with it, which is a 25 ft 1/4" hose. I thought it was pretty efficient, using it to pressure wash my corrugated aluminum roof. I decided to hook up the Simpson 3/8" 50 ft hose so I would have more hose to freely move around on the roof. To my surprise I felt like I had a new machine. I could feel a lot more pressure coming out of the nozzle, I didn't have to use as many strokes over the same area as I did with the other hose, because of greater volume of water coming out of the nozzle. I could cover more area on the roof before the pressure washer ran out of gas than with the OEM hose that came with the Pressure washer. I would highly recommend it as an upgrade. The simpson hose is a little stiffer and weighs a little bit more, but the higher volume of water and cleaning power is well worth the investment!

pro unit
Arrived quickly as expected. I should have purchased quick-remove fittings so I still had to run to the big-box home store.Basically this hose seems very heavy duty and performs as expected and is an excellent replacement for the flimsy hose that came w my 3200 PSI unit. It's a little stiff and requires a little more effort to move it around but all in all it is a significant upgrade. I wish I had bought it the day I purchased my pressure washer. The 50 foot length is awesome.

An industrial-grade hose that should survive the zombie apocalypse.
I purchased this as a replacement for the OEM hose that came with my Rigid 3300psi pressure washer, after my neighbor borrowed the washer and apparently dropped it from a C-130 somewhere over Afghanistan and then had it shipped home on a pirate ship ... somehow puncturing the OEM hose (and bending the frame, and bending an axle, and then returning it without saying a word). That abject lesson in neighbor etiquette aside, this is an excellent, top-quality industrial hose that includes robust quick connects. Simply uncoil it the first time you're ready to use it - to let out any kink demons - and then plug it into your washer and wand and you're good to go. One thing: when you are coiling it up after use, disconnect it from your washer and wand, and then roll it up ... don't try to coil it in one hand like a climbing or rodeo rope ... it cannot absorb twisting like a rope. I lay it out across 50' of driveway and then walk along rolling it up at chest height as if it were on a hub. Bingo! No kinks! But protect those QCs to ensure a long life. And make sure you drain it when you winterize your washer's pump, too.

Works great
I am using this with a Simpson PS3228 and it is a great setup. As others have mentioned, had to get the QC fittings in order to connect, but it is worth it. No noticeable loss of pressure with the extra length - very powerful for my needs. We have a lake place with a large screened in deck. The spiders love to spin their webs on the outside of the screens. The electric pressure washer I had would barely budge them. This setup blows them right off. The extra length of the hose allows me to keep the washer off the deck surface. Very pleased.

Lasts forever
I ordered these in 2016, six 50" lines and they have been in use in a commercial painting environment everyday. All the couplings are great and the hose is fine. The outer skin hasn't ever been cut through. These are very very tough hoses. No kinks. They are heavy and a little pricey but you get what you pay for. I have no idea what these other people are talking about because it would be impossible to hurt these. We've driven 80' tall man lifts over them and no problem. These are professional hoses period.
