Simply corking! But small-
This thing is a freaking piece of art. It’s smaller that I thought it would be. Barely bigger than my hand and doesn’t weigh as much as i thought. Which are both strikes against it. For the price it’s at it should be more substantial but have the same narrow point. Because that’s really all you’re paying for with this. It even comes with a honing stone for sharpening the tip if you need to. And it works absolutely amazingly at cutting styrene plastics.

Leaves a fine line, and is comfortable in hand
Works well, so far, but doesn't make up for my lack of skill. It's super fine, and marks well. It also comes with a sharpening stone, for when it may dull.

Great craftsmanship and it came with a sharpener too!!
I am happy that the scriber showed up finally lol. It looks awesome....I will be very happy when I get to use it on my next model. I really appreciate that Hobby Japan did a great job getting it here.

What a let down. :(
Worked great for the first time I used it. Then the tip literally broke off. I know how to use a scriber. I did it gently and it just broke off. -.- I’m really upset. I tried using the sharpener it comes with to sharpen it back into a point but it doesn’t seem to be making a dent since the piece that broke off was substantial. Not happy. Was really bummed because I heard great things about this one and was really excited about it. :(
