The CCX 2.5 patio cooler was developed to suit the cooling needs for various areas such as patios, sun room, screened in porches, garages, offices, restaurants and smaller work areas. It has a modern and stylish design with an LCD display and comes with modern features and different running programs. The CCX 2.5 provides a cost effective solution for open door areas and in offices where the ventilation system is incapable to cool certain areas like conference rooms etc. Having an attractive design with wheels and integrated water tank, the unit is very easy to move around in your space. Front outlet motor controlled diffusers make it easy to control the air flow, or let the unit sweep horizontally. An exclusive centrifugal fan design minimizes the noise and reduces the disturbance in any environment. The technology is based on the natural principle of using water to regulate the temperature and refresh the air. The system creates a comfortable indoor climate with optimal combination of temperature and humidity. No chemicals are used. This evaporative cooler uses an evaporative cooling pad as media. A system of water distribution and a pump keep the pad continuously wet. Inside the machine a centrifugal fan sucks the air from the outside through the pad. When it goes through the pad the air is saturated and it gets cooled. The cool air is then forced by the fan into the premises. The cost of running this cooler is equivalent to running a ceiling fan operating at only .03/hour. If the water runs out of the cooler, there is no fear of the pump burning up as the cooler just switches to fan mode. With the modern compact design, 2 back locking wheels and indented handles on each size, this cooler can be transported very easily. Water can be added through the side door easily with any garden hose. There is even a timer feature so that you can leave the machine running and it will shut off automatically.

I was looking for a swamp cooler, and saw this at a discounted price. Since it had so much more power than anything else at the price, I bought it. I saw in the description that it was meant for patios but I thought I'd try it inside the house anyways. It cools well but puts out a lot of humidity, even with a screen window fully open. Outside it would no doubt work great out to about 25-30 feet. Pros: cools really well(3-4 degrees cooler than my Honywell CL30XC according to my temp gun) simple design and buttons are very large back panel opens up and all parts are easily accessible big blue led display large water capacity made by Munters, a company with years of experience in commercial evaporative cooling technology Cons: cheap remote foam chute cracks easily(mine cracked during transport) small water port(they probably assume most people will use the alternate garden hose port for outside use) gimicky flow bars on led display for fan speed emits plastiky smell
