Tom Kerridge Fruity Brown Sauce Double Pack (2 Bottles)

So wonderful to find a well made and flavoursome fruity brown sauce that is GF (gluten free) - I have had to follow a GF diet for over 10 years and there are certain things that I have missed! One definitely has been 'fruity brown sauce' - a certain brand was previously my favourite but am now totally converted. It is so pleasing to see that all natural ingredients can be chosen and produce wonderful flavours without the need of bulking agents and artificial ingredients. Personally can't wait to try more of Tom Kerridge's GF sauce offerings - just a shame they are a tad pricey - but it is what I have come to expect once the GF description has been added to a label.

Could be a little more spicy.

Having tried a few gluten-free Brown Sauce attempts, this is the closest I’ve experienced to the well-known brand…like a cross between the original and the fruity version - but even nicer!

This sauce is quite pleasant-tasting and tangy. However the consistency is too thick so that it does not flow very well when being poured. There is also a sticky residue left on the rather flimsy cap after pouring and the sauce sticks to the sides of the bottle and remains there when the bottle is otherwise empty. There are better sweet sauces on the market (with better caps on the bottles too !).

I bought this for my brother, who thought it was absolutely fantastic. I’m not a fan of brown/fruity sauce but even I liked it. Really good depth of flavour and good ingredients! Will buy again!

This sauce is different to any others I have tried and I would recommend it to all ! Unlike most others, it does not have an overwhelming vinegary taste. I intend to place a further order !

But too thick and sweet for me.

I really liked this sauce when I first got it. But a few days after first opening the taste seemed to change. Tasted like fruit that had past it date. Not very nice.
