Perfect jacket, at least for me! Yes for slight pear or hourglass shape / no for apple shape of body
I really don't know what causes all the bad reviews! firs of all, I advise to check the measurements chart included, not just go by size, after doing that I have ordered size 16/XL not my usual 14, simply because measurements were indicating to do so, i think that is were people get it wrong. It you go by measurements dead same as your body measurements it will be tight fit, just go size up if you expect room for extra layers! Jacket arrived super fast- I have order it 8pm and it was delivered 1pm following day! First impression - its light and fluffy but not bulky. look like pics. Every part of jacket fits perfectly, I am 5 foot 7'' and i do weightlifting so have specific shape - have quite wide hibs and shoulders, chunky thighs, bum and shoulders and arms, but small waist and boobs. Also long arms and legs with shorter body. Jacket is indeed slightly wider at bottom but thanks to that i can zip it (unlike most straight cut jackets i tried on)and doesn't look flared! Same goes for sleeves they are long and wide enough for me to fit comfortably with warm hoodie on (most other jackets had too short and too tight sleeves ) Waist actually was loose not tight, I adjusted with inside cord and it looks even better. Hood is big, but not too big!, It covers whole of head around, nice and loose (not just stooping at top of head or pulling down like- again most jackets I tried) it covers my bum and top of thigh but its nowhere near r my knees. What can I say, we all have different body shapes, but this jacket is perfect for me. ADVISE : If you are, like me - hourglass or slight pear shape - it's right jacket for you. If you have small bum/narrow hips, slim legs and arms, but very big boobs and carry most weight around your middle (back, belly) so apple shape - then do not buy this jacket. i attached pics with and without jacket so you can judge better

Excellent outdoor coat for winter
I hesitated buying this coat because of some of the reviews, but I just couldn't find any other coat I wanted in my price range, so I took a chance. Glad I did.It's a warm, thick coat, but feels smart to wear. Excellent deep-lined pockets, long sleeves, a large hood that actually covers the whole head, and the weatherproof material make it such a practical coat. In addition, I am 5.9 but the coat fully covers my bottom and some of my thighs, so it will keep a decent portion of my trousers dry too.I've only had chance to wear for one wet dog walk and one cold and wet horseride so far, but it totally does the job.

Warm, comfy and lots of useful pockets!
Fitted at shoulders. Wast is adjustable. However the rest of the coat is huge. I am a size 14 top as I have wide shoulders, but otherwise 12 UK size.As I have bought for walking the dog in all this rain we are having, it defiantly covers my bum... I hope it is as waterproof as they claim!Stitching in places a bit untidy.

Not new and to big
Not happy at all when i buy something new I expect it to be new, not used. I found tissue and coins in the pockets. And the sizes come up big.

On the small side.
Liked the jacket very much. I haven’t worn it yet as the weather has not been cold enough. I bought it especially to go to football. I expect it will keep me warm and dry as the winter progresses. I ordered the small size as I usually buy a size 10. It is on the small size. If in doubt I would order a size bigger.

Very very small I ordered XL and I couldn’t fasten it I’m normally size 18/20 so very disappointing the coat it’s self was very nice you just have to be skinny !!

Better than the picture
Very happy with this jacket.Read the reviews and decided to try for myself. I don’t have a dog to walk but school run can be equally wet.This jacket is a good length- it covers the bottom but not too long to slow you down.It definitely provides good insulation especially around chest and throat.The inside pocket is on the “wrong” side and has no zip which is slightly disappointing.I ordered Medium and it is a proper medium, not a miniature version.I think originally they tried to give it a designs look but then went for cheaper materials but I will whare it on the commute without hesitation. It sits well, looks well and is nice and warm. A little heavy after down jackets and slightly bulky but it keeps the shape well and accommodates kindly for muly Eastern European figure

short sleeves
The overall fit is good but the sleeves are too short for a tall person. I will return the jacket.
