DreamLine 36 in. D x 36 in. W x 76 3/4 in. H SlimLine Double Threshold Corner Drain Base and Acrylic Backwall Kit in White, DL-6294C-01

We decided to remodel our extra bathroom. After looking at the local hardware store, we looked on Amazon and found this DreamLine shower. It didn't include the doors but we luckily found a DreamLine door kit also on Amazon. Before making the purchase, I asked the sellers if these 2 parts fit together. I was assured they DID fit. I completed my order and waited patiently for the parts to be shipped. The enclosure arrived weeks before the base so it had to be stored for a short time. My husband, a union contractor, worked to install the shower once the base arrived. The base was installed and the cement backer boards were placed into the grooves with the shower walls attached to the cement backer boards. We started to install the glass shower enclosure and quickly realized this enclosure DOES NOT fit the base. This is what DreamLine support had to say: " Due to the nature of the parts that you will need, and that this is not an issue covered under Warranty, you will need to visit one of our dealers to purchase the correct panels. I recommend going through Home Depot or Lowe's, as they submit such part orders more frequently than Amazon or our other internet dealers. The box number you need is SHEN-GLP2101-343410 (part #03 Stationary Panel, 2 pcs). I'm hoping and praying that Amazon straightens this matter out without further cost to me!

Honestly the only good thing I can say about this is the base is nice and sturdy and way to install, and delivery was smooth..other than that it has been the shower from hell. The sides are so short compared to other shower insters. The sides WILL not stick to the green board after 3 tubes of liquid nails it still pops off the wall. What a waste of 500.00

I replaced a shower in a Double Wide mobil home. It took two days, but worked well when finished. The instructions were good. The suggested faucet set up was not needed.

I’ve installed two dreamline shower kits, both Neo angle. They went in great and quality was solid. This kit let me down. The base was great however the walls and their brackets were overly complicated vs the other kits. The screw in brackets are tacky and they should have had them molded in like the corner kits and just use adhesive (which you need to use anyway). For 700.00 I don’t think the quality is there for this kit. Although I made it look good, the design of the kit didn’t make it easy.

It would be really helpful if the manufacturer of these listed what frame sizes worked with what base size, and if they were all available for purchase individually. Why? Because we wanted the black base, but weren't able to buy the black base with the white walls, or the frame less glass with the black base and the white walls, the combination options were just poorly laid out, and it could be more clear on what size base works with what size frame. Like say this is a model B base, works with a model B frame, etc. It doesn't have to be complicated, but it should be something that makes sense to anyone reading it.

We used this wall/pan enclosure to replace our leaking tile shower. We had our contractor install it for us and it went very smoothly. Note that while the pan attaches to the studs, the walls need to be attacked to something solid. He called it a “remodel kit” but said it wasn’t hard to put in. The shelves look small but hold our stuff pretty well. Overall, very happy with it. I had a really hard time finding a 42 inch neo shower kit so was thrilled to get this one

The base is very nice but the walls are flimsy. In order to keep the walls in place while the glue dries they need to be braced. The pattern on the walls are not centered so the shower body is not in the middle of the pattern. I ended up throwing the walls out and tiled so I wasted my money on the walls.

I ordered the 40" shower walls/base and 40" glass thinking it would fit. I cannot get ahold of any customer service that will help me through amazon, buildcom, or dreamline to try and fix this problem. I know this will be a beautiful shower once the problem is solved but meanwhile I have shower that does not work.

The description says base and walls, only the base came with no walls....returned for refund
