I've tried lots over the years and without any doubt this is the best, so well made, sturdy construction, grips the turf and stays in place whatever type of shot you play ... (if I have one negative it should be supplied with a carry bag or loop string for storing during the round) its too expensive, to easy to be dropping off your bag!

The SPURK is also a very reasonably priced piece of equipment therefore very happy with my purchase. One gripe is that I would have liked a small carry bag provided however this does not detract from what is otherwise a great buy.

**Q: Does this have to be pushed into the ground (underside pegs) for every shot?**
A: Yes then easily pulled out. Completely changes winter golf an amazing piece of kit

**Q: Does this product work when frosty, or is it only good on softer ground?**
A: The mats will work fine on a ground frost but if the ground is completely frozen solid you may struggle to set the mat claws into the ground.

**Q: Does this Come with a bag**
A: No bag

**Q: Can you change the turf**
A: You cannot change the length of the turf on the Spurk mat, but they do offer two different lengths.

Great mat for your winter Rules as on most courses used to protect fairways... I've tried lots over the years and without any doubt this is the best, so well made, sturdy construction, grips the turf and stays in place whatever type of shot you play ... (if I have one negative it should be supplied with a carry bag or loop string for storing during the round) its too expensive, to easy to be dropping off your bag!

Bought two of these mats for my husband and myself for playing winter golf. They are sturdy and well made. Unfortunately I lent mine to a friend the first time it was used and he managed to trash the toggle and bungee - I think he must have left the bungee round the mat when he played. I contacted the supplier who arranged 2 replacement bungees extremely quickly and FOC. Great service! The mats make winter golf easier, cleaner and more pleasant :) Not cheap but should last a long time.
