English & Grammar Workbook

It kept my daughter busy, but I wish there were more pages for the price of it, especially when you factor in the shipping and taxes.

Great resource for daily warmups in the classroom. I teach resource ELA in middle school and bought grades 4-6 to use to reinforce grammar as daily warm ups

Worth money

I use this workbook as a supplement for my home schooled 4th grader. He enjoys the variety. Pretty simple sheets that are easy to do in about 5 min.

My 9 year old loves this book, it's fun, challenging, yet repetitive enough to stay focused. He's learned a lot.

One problem I would have with other children workbooks is that grammar related explanations are too "wordy", or take up half of the page with linguistic jargon that may be difficult for young children while offering little room for practice.I would end up summarizing chapters in my own words and explaining more which is okay and expected to some degree, but leaves a lot on the table for children self study/self homework. This is an easy (yet meaningful) reader/workbook for children with bright colors, large text, and to the point explanations and examples. The layout is very organized, unlike other workbooks that may have text starting left to right/ then right to left and boxes within boxes that look clumsy. It is competitively priced compared to other workbooks, and all-in-all a great workbook to incorporate into a child's afterschool studies.

Good for beginners to learn grammar.
