I live in a condo where dozens of other owners have replaced their their traditional locks with electronic ones. I installed my Sifely lock with fobs and wifi over two years ago and have had opportunities to compare the Sifely with other brands. Nothing compares. Installation and operation has been a breeze. I've used the features on multiple occasions and they have greatly simplified my life. That alone justifies the purchase. But I don't simply judge companies and their products and/or services alone.I started having a problem with the latch operation and contacted Sifely via email since they hadn't opened their chat services early this morning. Later I contacted their chat support. I couldn't have asked for a better response if I had been talking with my brother. I explained the issue, provided a mailing address, and the purchase order number. The replacement latch is on its way with absolutely no charge. There's no way to beat that.Your property will be in good hands with Sifely.BTW, this is a completely self-motivated review. I just like sharing my consumer experiences with the rest of you in cyberspace who shop online. This device is not necessary for the lock to work, the lock can still be opened without it, but you would have to retrieve access codes and other information while being near the Sifely lock. I do recommend it, though, because it's much more convenient to be able to use the features without having to be physically close.However, there is something very important about this device: the gateway connects only to 2.4 GHz networks. So, please make sure to check that you have a 2.4 GHz network before purchasing.

Originally it was just blinking a red light and I could not connect it to wifi or the lock.The support team contacted me and helped me to get it working.Going to test unlocking when I am far away from home

I’m no tech expert beyond the basics, so I cannot get my head around how this works. But it does, and does so really, really well. We installed this in a rental condo that is on ANOTHER CONTINENT. Setup was a snap (make sure your router supports 2.5 mhz) and now I can change lock codes for each new guest and monitor entrances by user. This gadget even shows you the power level of your door lock’s batteries. Is it witchcraft? No idea, but it is an amazing tool and way worth the price to upgrade the functionality of your Sifely digital lock. One note: keep in mind that, if it gets unplugged, the gateway will stop working. Recommend putting it somewhere that’s unlikely to happen.
