The Scariest Book in the Whole Entire World (Entire World Books)

Very cute and fun pace

A delightful tail of a little rock finding his way through a scary not so scary situation. A very witty writing style with illustrations to match. My nine-year-old said, “this is the funniest book in the world about a rock!” my six-year-old said this is totally not scary at all just funny!“

This book has what appears to be simple drawings and simple text, but underneath you can tell it was hard work to make it look simple. It is will thought out and a funny read. It is up-to-date with phrases like "BoBo Out" . The author hones in on the the scariest things, like the dark and clowns and makes it very entertaining. Personally, I am not afraid of the dark, but I am afraid of what could happen to me in the dark...like clowns. Kids will wan to read this a second and third time right after reading it the first time.

I love these semi-interactive books. I bought this for my 1st graders they thought it was cute and silly, we all agreed we were not a huge fan of how the book ended though.. I was able to turn that into a lesson though so it turned out all right.

A fun and easy read!! Be prepared to read this one again and again. Our 5 year old giggles like a maniac at the end of this book. Every. Single. Time. Very cute, very giftable.

I borrowed a hard copy from the library and the pictures did not have streaks through them, but this paperback looked like the printer was running out of ink, which was disappointing. My kids still love the story, it is one of their favorites, but just wish the book quality was better.

Joey Acker has hit it out of the park! Not only do my third grade students LOVE his dry sense of humor and these silly stories, but they've begun mimicking Acker's writing style! I read this book to my 6 year old granddaughter. We both loved it and it made us laugh. She was a little nervous at first as this is a scary book but it is also a fun book.The simple pictures and text are catchy and made us want to read it til the end. Looking forward to reading more Whole Entire World books.

My son received this just before Halloween and as with all of the other books in the series, he immediately wanted to read it!It's funny, it's sweet, and Nameless is as stoic as ever.These books are a huge hit with my son - he is 10 and had Autism.They tickle his funny bone just right!I absolutely recommend this book series to your child who loves to giggle

Oh, how excited the boys got when I read the title of this book to them! And how relieved they actually were when they realised it's not scary at all but extremely funny. This book made us giggle over and over. We also loved the focussed illustration style. Can't wait for the next book. I'd highly recommend it.
