Scotts Turf Builder with Moss Control, 5,000 sq. ft.

My lawn has been mostly neglected. Lots of moss in areas and thin grass coverage in others. After using this product just once my lawn has never looked more healthy. I can see areas where the moss is dying and the grass is now growing fast with a healthy color. I've used other Scotts fertilizers but none have been as effective as this.

I had some trouble spots with moss taking over my lawn, so I decided to give Scotts Turf Builder Triple Action for Moss Control a try. I am incredibly impressed with the results! This stuff absolutely works. It has been down for about a month now, and it completely killed off the moss exactly as advertised. It's such a relief to find a product that delivers on its promises without harming the surrounding grass. So far, my lawn is looking much cleaner and healthier. I highly recommend it if you're struggling with a stubborn moss problem!

Works fairly well to knock out mossy spots... temporarily. Moss will come back if you dont correct the conditions that make it favorable to grow.

Works as suppose to. Use it yearly. Recommend

Works as stated, killed most of the moss on my lawn and after a few weeks/rains, turned the grass dark green.

Not sure what we might have done wrong, but single application of the product didn’t give obvious effects. The moss is still growing there. Update: a few days later, we started to see moss turning color. It took longer than I expected. Updated rating from 1 to 3

Over the last few years I've tried several methods for getting rid of the moss. So far, this has been the most promising. I tried physical removal with a power rake. I was unable to get the grass to recover well. It decimated the ecosystem and exposed all the dirt, which only left more ripe ground for moss to grow. I soaked it with liquid iron-based product and it blackend the moss. I raked it all out (again), overseeded, only to have the moss return faster than the grass could establish, and it choked out the grass. I tried granulated treatments the next year, along with more over-seeding. No dice. I've given up on raking it out. When I rake, it just exposes the dirt more and leaves me with more fertile ground for moss. What I have found that works.... During the final freezes this year, I got out and broke up the soil surface with a garden weasel. Over-seeded, and used this product instead of pure starter fertilizer. HOLY COW! It's been a couple weeks. The moss is gone, the grass is germinating thickly, and it looks like I'm going to win this time. Other areas of the yard where I applied this without breaking up / overseeding -- the moss is brown, the grass is green, and it's 'bushing out' to fill overtop where the moss is. I'm quite happy with this outcome.
