Burnshield 4" X 4" Burn Dressing, Sterile

Bought these on a whim to have “just in case.” 2 days after receiving them my husband forgot that the stainless steel pan had come out of the oven and badly burnt his hand.We were able to put one patch on immediately, which helped with the pain. He kept his hand elevated, took some ibuprofen, and we changed to a new patch before bed. The first picture was taken 18 hours after he was burnt. The second picture was 38 hours after. The pictures alone speak for themselves.If you’re on the fence, BUY THESE. We used 2 patches, a total of $6; who knows where we would be without them. Worth every penny!

I purchased these burn shields for our company's First Aid kits without knowing how well they worked until I burned myself while ironing my work pants. I didn't realize how bad my burn was until I came to work, so I wanted to see if these pads worked. I applied the pad to the top of my burn, then wrapped the area in gauze, leaving it on for most of the day. The pad cooled the burn area, but I didn't feel the pain of the burn all day when I removed the gauze at the end of the day; the moist burn pad was dry, and my wound was able to heal the rest of the day and night on its own and without any pain or problems. We always recommend seeing medical advice for more severe burns, but this pad worked for quick iron burns.

Extremely surprised of how well this worked. Prepare for a very moist bandage. I would advise having some dressing available to wrap around the bandage and if you don’t wrap the dressing around it in multiple layers, expect it to leak gel. But if you wrap a good, then it’s a true winner.

Had a 2nd degree burn on my arm, tried other bandages and antibacterial cream, not improving. Tried one of these pads, and overnight there was a major improvement. Had to wrap it in an ace bandage, but it didn't leak through. Wish I had known about it sooner and ordered more than one. I ordered 4 more for future use.

In building my first aid kit, I found out the hard way that I was missing treatment for burns. I purchased these to address this oversight .

I bought this in 2022! Just burned myself while cooking and hurt so badly. I had it in water for 2 hours and the pain would not go away. I found the burn shield as i became desperate. Thank God, after putting it on my burns were soothed. I wrapped it up with cling wrap and Im happy again.

This stuff is pretty amazing. I ordered a TON of stuff to deal with a severe second degree burn I got on my arm from a hot baking pan. The wound got infected and I had to go antibiotics and everything. Nothing was healing the wound and I was having a hard time with that slough material that kept developing (necrotic tissue that forms in the wound bed and has to be debrided for the wound to heal. I tried all kinds of things but found this product healed the wound faster than anything else I tried. It also didn't stick to the wound when I would change out the dressing like most other things I tried. It's a bit messy to work with (it's really saturated), but I will always keep these on hand if I get burned again. It not only sped up the healing but it was extremely cooling and soothing to the wound. If I could only have one thing on hand for burns, this would be it.

I recently burned my hand when I accidently touched a still hot muffler, so I ran inside, cut open the package and applied the burn shield....Instant relief. No serious burn, just a little red.
