This warm on the nose and even a little on skin which I always say that means its working really well. This gives me the late evening vacation vibe. A time when things are winding down and you find yourself relaxing at a poolside bar. A bit silly to paint a picture for you honestly, but this is a great manly cologne for a night out in paradise.Strongly recommend this fragrance to anyone and everyone looking for a nice coconut scent with a little freshness. Its not the sweet creamy coconut some be looking for but this every bit as good.

Green mandarin, coconut, amber blend well. More intense & ambery than original. Long-lasting scent. Modern masculine feel.

Great brand, good fragrance. This is Eau de parafum, which is oil mixed in water, so it's longer lasting. Smells great.

The scent fades away after a few hours

I did not notice this was the Intense version, but tbh, it immediately became my new favorite. As a matter of fact it's so very near Versace Eros it can pass off as if it were. Beware, it's strong and lingers for hours, and resurfaces with body heat or during showers. Not recommended if you get on public transport or elevators constantly, it will elicit mixed reactions. I'd say spray on skin (no more than 2 pumps, 3 if ur a risk taker) right before getting dressed, it will still be noticeable through your layers of clothing. Though I personally use it to the office, as a daily use, it's versatile enough for day and night, formal and casual. If you're over 30 you can pull this one off, I've had equal amounts of "grandpa smell" and "fresh elegant masculine" remarks, so ignore anyone who labels this as an 'older gentleman's scent only'. Ive been using Cool Water since age 21and I'm now 38 still rocking it.

I was stopped by many people in my travels to compliment the aura of my Davidoff. It was a pleasant way to compliment a shave or a shower. Then something changed. The product lost all of the qualities I bought it for. I believed that the company chose to market the old product as a new "intense" version as it was more costly and profitable. The "intense" version is close to the old version ,but seems to be a way to rip off loyal customers. I will seek a suitable replacement.
