Good Stopping power
These work well and were easy to install (like most break pads) a bit more noise than I'm used to

Again, EBC is One of the Best Available
As with their brake rotors, EBC puts out a top of the line product. Highly recommended!

2015 WRX - Good higher temp pad, also higher friction
There are several misunderstandings about brakes in general and also with these specific pads. First, higher friction does not always mean better brakes. I often prefer lower friction since it's easier to modulate (get the exact level of braking you want). Many factory brake systems are way too sensitive because the general public equates that will better brakes. My 2015 WRX is not really too sensitive from the factory, and these pads do seem to be an upgrade with a bit more friction and more capability. A couple notes below:-- Brake pads have a 2 letter friction code either stamped in the backing plate or stenciled on the side of the pad material. The first letter is cold friction and the second letter is hot friction. Each letter is a certain friction range with G being higher than F, which is higher than E, etc. The front factory 2015 WRX pads were FF, and the EBC Redstuff are GG. I would prefer FF for this particular car, but they are still acceptable.-- For all the reviews that said they noticed a difference right away, please remember these pads have a break-in coating that effectively has a much higher friction than the pads themselves. Until this layer wears away (probably 100-300 miles), any review of these pads in meaningless.-- Per the EBC factory bedding instructions for the Redstuff pads, after at least 300 miles, the brakes can be used aggressively enough to get the temps to 400-500 deg C. At this temp, volatiles are released and "green fade" or fade caused by pad off-gassing can occur. You will also smell the brakes at this point, which is a good smell to learn since it can indicate you are close to brake fade. I find this high-temp bedding of the brake pads also changes the characteristics of the pad a bit in normal driving and lowers the friction a slight amount. I had to heat the brakes to this temp range, followed by complete cool-down, twice.-- The last set of these pads I bought were for a 2007 Mini Cooper S, where the difference was night and day and really helped tame an over-boosted (very sensitive) brake system. I believe those pads were the previous generation of material. They were dustier, and the dust was more difficult to wash off, but I liked the performance and friction level better.-- Brake dust with this new set of Redstuff pads on my WRX is low, but I would happily trade better performance for higher dust any day. They do not seem to squeak, at least not yet.-- The pads seem pretty linear in moderate to heavier braking, and acceptable for light braking. Firmness of the brake pedal is about the same as factory pads. Note I have not replaced the rear pads yet, just the front.

Life saving
EBC pads saved my life in my previous car, so when I had to replace the cheap factory brakes on my current car, these were my go to. I immediately noticed a substantial improvement over the stock brakes, and these only got better as they begin to break in. Overall, I’m very happy.

Five Stars
Bye bye brake fade problems in my 2014 Subaru Forester XT. Huge difference since minute 1.

Difference immediately noticed
I replaced my brake pads and I could immediately tell the difference. Brakes were more accurate and powerful with excellent pedal feel. Seems like it will be easier on the pressure side of your brake system because you are able to use less force on the brake pedal.

Very high dust, far worse than OEM. Good stopping power. Poor rotor life.
Very high dust, far worse than OEM. Good stopping power. Poor rotor life. Also very noisy, even once broken in.

Excellent frein
