The media could not be loaded. Pills weren't massive, so I could swallow them quite easily also didn't have any gross after taste with them.R-lipoic acid is more potent than the alpha lipoic as your body recognises it so it's better than alpha but also these pills are a lot more expensive.I think I will just go back to making my own pills as I used to have 1800mg a day and that amount just costs way too much to have a day with this bottle.

Decided to try it after my PSC started to progress. After taking it for two months I had another blood test, and my bilirubin is back in the normal range (after two years being elevated). Could be chance, but I'm encouraged enough to keep using it. The capsule is large but I take it with warm water and then eat right afterward and I don't have stomach upset.Update: I've been using the R-lipoic acid for 5 months now. I had another round of liver blood tests and everything is now in the normal range! I've also noticed I am waking up on my own, ready to get out of bed rather than dragging myself out of bed. I haven't seen any effect on my weight (unfortunately).
