Fashions In Eyeglasses: From the Fourteenth Century to the Present Day

I bought this for research on 1940s sunglasses. Sadly the book only provided one page on the 1940s and the information wasn't too detailed. Perhaps the author favors the earlier centuries. I will look forward to reading those chapters as needed.

very nice book on eyeglass history and styles.

I'm sure this is great for the props departments of TV and stage but I was looking for clearer insight into styles and fashion.
