This is the one that's held up the longest
Bought this for my 2.5 year old to use starting this summer, so we've had it in heavy rotation for 4 months or so. His Contigo and Zulu cups didn't last this long. I was tired of replacing them every couple of months. He's very hard on everything he touches and LOVES to chew on things. And he's chewed on this one, but it's still usable, I can still clean it, and it still looks reasonably good! Seems to keep his drink cold for most of the day, but we only use it for ice water. Oddly, the silver part of the bottle at the top, where it screws in to the lid, will sweat sometimes! I don't care. This is a workhorse kid's cup. It's never leaked as long as the spout is closed, and it's not really leak-prone even if it's open, in our experience. The underside of the lid has lots of crevices and deep recesses which would make it potentially hard to clean. We put the lid in the dishwasher along with the straw and clean the metal part by hand, though the instructions say it can also be washed on the top rack. AND the color has not chipped, though the bottom has dented a bit. It's pretty heavy duty. I'm beyond pleased. I'm not going to bother with another brand.

game-changer
The YETI Rambler Jr. is a game-changer for on-the-go hydration. Its compact size is perfect for little hands, while the durable stainless steel construction ensures it can handle the adventures of any young explorer. The double-wall vacuum insulation keeps drinks cold (or hot) for longer, making it ideal for any weather. The leak-resistant cap adds convenience, preventing spills during the inevitable bumps and tumbles. Easy to clean and built to last, the YETI Rambler Jr. is a reliable choice for parents and a fun way for kids to stay refreshed throughout the day. It's a win-win for both practicality and style.

FAVORITE CUPS
These cups can go through a lot of tumbles! They are semi leak proof... the mouth piece has to be closed down, if it lifted up and you tip the cup upside down, it does leak. They are safe for the dishwasher, the kids love them, and love the stickers they come with, so far the stickers have held up to many many many washes. They are pricey to buy especially if you have multiple kids and want a few to rotate, but they are definitely worth it! We use them all the time and they go just about everywhere with us. They barely fit in the carset cupholders, but that isn't a deal breaker for us. These cups keep water cold all day long.

My son’s favourite bottle
Great insulated bottle that is solid and perfect for my 2.5 years old. The design is very intuitive and he can hold the handle easily with his small hands and drink from the straw. He must have dropped it a few times at pre school but the bottle is still sealing and functioning perfectly. Very easy to clean too. We purchased a few in different colours and highly recommend this.

Lives up to the YETI Brand Standard
This water bottle is awesome and totally worth the money in my opinion. It keeps my kid's water nice and cold all day long in the Texas summer heat. It's sturdy (no dents after being dropped several times). I like that the spout is a hard plastic and not silicone so that he cannot bite through the spout. It's not "leak-proof" in that if there is water in the straw and you turn it upside down, the water will come out. Also, if you hold it upside down and shake it, water droplets will come out at a pretty decent rate. However, if the bottle is sitting on a surface and it gets knocked over and is just laying on its side, it does not leak (at least in my experience).

Love this
Best cup you can get for your kids. Keeps thing hot and colder better than other cup, no leaks, and it has already been thrown around constantly and has held up great and seems like it will for years to come

WOW! I see what all the Hype is ABOUT!
Ok so I never thought in a million years I would EVER buy my toddler such an expensive water bottle! However, after he had thrown and broken about the 6th cheap plastic one I was just done. Plus he likes his ice water, just like his mama. It was so hard for me to pull the trigger and buy one of these, I finally just saved up a giftcard and got it for him. It is AMAZING! He has thrown it so many times, and we have had no issues, no dents and no failures of the straw. That was always an issue with the cheap plastic ones is when he would throw the bottle the straw would knock loose and I would have to constantly be fixing it for him. The only time this bottle leaks is if it is on it's side. I do wish for the price it was a little bit bigger, more like a 16oz vs the 12oz. I just LOVE that it is dishwasher safe, and my 2 y/o has no difficulty working the lid to access the straw. We just purchased our second cup to have one to use while cleaning the other :)
