Cute. No longer fits our small 2 1/2 year old

I love that this hat is bigger so my 7 mo can grow into it all summer. The inside seems soft and comfortable to the touch for baby's sensitive skin. I don't think it's breathable material, even though it looks like it from the inside pictures I took. When I tried blowing air through the hat, I couldn't feel it coming through on my hand. I ran water over the top and it repelled it for a while...but eventually the water got through to the inside which was expected. But i thought it was kind of neat the water was reppelled for a bit. So this will be a great hat for rain days. (When we are briefly out in the elements.) I just gently washed by hand in the sink using cool water, there was no running of dye. I did notice the green stem has hot glue and stitching holding the leaves down. Not sure how long the glue will hold, but that's okay to me. Baby girl is going to be rocking this hat all summer long rain or shine!

Bought this for my 4 year old, assuming it would fit him since he's a toddler, but the hat seemed like it would only fit a newborn baby once it came. Fifteen bucks down the drain.
