I have a 100g Rubbermaid stock tank that our mini Herefords drink from. Had the Rubbermaid float valve….. press fitting separated after a few days. Had the Little giant metal body float valve….. float sticks open and the tank floods the pasture after a few days. Have had this Jobe for a month now and it’s been flawless. It was easy to install drilled about half way down the stock tank and the rubber seal snugged up tight no leaks. Tied the float to a string with some knots for adjustability and it works perfect. Can see the float from the house(400+ Feet away) and our Bull likes to play with the float and push it around. Nice when something works like it’s supposed to!!

I have these on 5’ tire tanks. Work great and are simple to install and adjust, this model is 5gpm so be aware of your required recovery rate. I will definitely be adding the larger valves to larger tanks. This tank supports some ewe sheep and a few horses just fine.

I use this float valve in a water trough for my horses. Yes, horses like to play and break things, like their previous auto waterers. I was hoping this would be different and hold strong against a playful horse. The string that comes with it should be discarded immediately, as with one bite from a horse, it will snap. Instead , use a coated baling wire and use that in place of the string, it has worked wonderfully and seems to be indestructible(time will tell). Another off topic tip, if you get algae and bugs in your trough, use gold fish. Good Luck!

I’m using this valve as an automatic water top off in my koi pond. I was questioning the durability because it’s made of plastic at first. After putting my hands on the valve my hesitation was tossed aside. This valve is built like a tank. My largest koi of about 27 inches has played with the float valve without damaging the unit. I will buy another identical unit if anything ever happens to this one.

Able to flow almost 3 ltrs/min at almost 0 psi in a gravity feed system works fine for me. Well constructed and cleverly designed. Buy this Rojo valve with confidence. It's good.

Broke after a month and a half. Suppose to be expected since the whole thing is made of plastic. The arm (plastic) broke, and cannot get parts that will fit. Total rip off
